Still look new!
Been playing them for 3 weeks and they still look like new. I have very oily skin so I have trouble with strings rusting quickly. They’re also super loud, I can practice without the bass even hooked up to an amp.Only con is they’re not the smoothest/slinkiest. So you can definitely tell they’re roundwounds, but for the price they’re a must have.

The best sounding string by far. Could last longer
I tried these and haven’t gone back. They are bright, punchy and have crushing mid tone with deep lows. And for the cheapest price I’ve seen for a set of bass strings! However I notice they start to loose their tone after about 3 weeks, still sounding great but not as crisp as I prefer. Then again I do play about 2 hours a night, sometimes more. So maybe it’s just because I play so much. Someone who only plays every other day they will last longer. Some strings may last longer but you won’t find this tone. I’ve tried them all DR, Ernie ball. Daddario (solid second), Dunlop (horrible) , sir are surprisingly superior!

Didn't Like
I bought these b/c of the reviews. This is the second time I tried "budget" strings. The others were Silvertone's which were awful and I took off immediately. These weren't as smooth on the fingers as others and went dead real quick. I don't think it's got anything to do with compatibility with my bass but I'm sticking to Dunlops, DRs and D'Addarios.

Good but
I went to put my new E and A string and noticed the bottom of the string was frayed a bit which is unacceptable for brand new strings with a name behind it such as David Ellefson. other than the damaged strings which is what I needed to replace, to begin with, it's a great-looking set of strings for the other 2.

Muy buena opción de cuerdas
Muy buenas cuerdas si lo que buscas es precio, aun no veo cuanto tarda el desgaste pero el sonido es bueno

Hard Rock/Metal + Plectrum = Perfection
I've fallen in love with these. Everything feels and sounds spot on to me. They've got the right amount of tension, they feel great against my fingers, and the tone is simply monstrous when paired with my P bass that has Geezer Butler's signature EMG pickups on it. Feel and sound is a very subjective thing... I love Megadeth's music, I play hard rock and heavy metal most of the time, and I play with a pick. I suppose it's no surprise that these are every bit as good as you'd think they are for that application given whose signature set this is.

Buenas cuerdas a buen precio

Well worth the money for Megadeth fans.
My son is 14 and he said they are not comparable to his other strings. He loves how close they fit to the neck and he can play faster.
