I have been getting Brazilian keratin treatments to straighten my shoulder-length hair a few times a year for decades and thus need sulfate-free hair products. Ever since the original Elucence shampoo and conditioner formulations were no longer made and my stockpile ran out (years ago), I have been trying out various other products. My search ended once I found Keratin Research shampoo and conditioner. They leave my hair clean, smooth, beautiful, healthy, and even a bit shiny, perhaps due to the argan oil. The products smell pleasant and lather well My only quibble — and it is minor — is that the conditioner is not as thick as the shampoo; as as result, the conditioner bottle empties sooner.

I previously bought the brazilian blowout straightener product from this company and tried the shampoo and conditioner. They are my favorite shampoo and conditioner. My hair get clean and soft while helping to maintain my blowout.

First off, I appreciated the clear directions provided on the bottle and also emailed to me-emphasizing how important it is to follow the recommendations! I treated my daughters very long hair, for the first time, so from start to finish it took me three hours. In addition to the keratin treatment, I purchased a stylist's applicator brush and cup, a straightener that reaches 450 degrees and a fine-toothed comb. These made the process much easier and gave me confidence that I was doing each step correctly as described. As I said, she has very long, wavy hair which had been color treated for the summer so it was very frizzy, especially at the ends. ( I wish I had purchased some larger hair clips to more easily section her hair.) With one $75 bottle I was able to do an entire treatment and still have almost half a bottle left. To have a stylist do the treatment the cost would have been over $400. We were both very happy with the results. As anxious as she was to wash her hair, she followed the directions and waited the three days. Her hair is now smooth and soft and the frizziness is completely gone. Also, her hair dries much more quickly now! I highly recommend this product. This was my first time doing it myself, and I was thrilled with the results.

I am so amazed. I just ran out of the shampoo & conditioner & I am in SHOCK that I first ordered this in April 2017. This has lasted me for over a year! (I only wash my hair once a week & use dry shampoo in between actual washes) Definitely worth the money. After using this shampoo & conditioner for a year, my hair looks a lot healthier. Its also feels fuller due to less breakage. I always straighten my hair & this product definitley has helped to strengthen my hair. After a fresh wash my hair is soft, shiny & silky.

Smells like cough syrup and chemicals are harsh never had a shampoo literally burn my eyes

Exceptional for improving shine and manageability. I am not easy to please when it comes to shampoos and conditioners, but this one hits the mark. The only challenge is that it is quite pricey in Canada and they sell it at a much lesser price in Walmart Stores in the US. I wish they would stock it in Walmart stores in Canada to bring the price down.
