Alright let me just start by saying I love how compact this is, no bigger than a brick yet still enough space for the necessities. I opened up the medical supplies and saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. Love the safety pins as well, those are insanely useful when you need them the most. As for the tools and the tactical items, I really only kept the flashlight, wire saw, and the bottle/can opener. The people who say the flashlight doesn’t work actually just didn’t check to see if it had batteries. It’s a great flashlight. The wire saw is durable and will cut what you need it to. The knife is awful. It was super dull out of the box and the assisted opening couldn’t get the knife open all the way. The flipper on the backside of it is surrounded by metal ridges that do nothing but cut your fingers up, and the amount of blade play in it is laughable. The compass was in pieces when I received it and was made of very cheap plastic to begin with. The flint and steel was adequate, the only reason I replaced it was because I had a smaller set and wanted to add a water filter. The whistle was nice, no complaints there. The paracord was of decent quality but there isn’t much of it at all. I ended up braiding it into a lanyard for the whistle and getting some more. The pack itself is a very durable fabric and the snaps are a nice touch. Overall, I give this a 2.5 stars. A half decent product deserves a half decent rating.

I purchased three of these emergency paks as gifts for my husband and two sons. They really, really liked them. They plan on carrying them in their car and looking forward to taking the paks on hiking/camping trips. It is perfectly packed with all the necessities one would need! So much for so little price. Will be purchasing more for other family members as well as one for myself, does it come in pink? Ha ha ha We highly recommend this item

Got it as a first aid kit for my truck. Nice and compact. Always misplacing or forgetting my pocketknives other items. Comprehensive little kit. Added a mini bic. Cheap. Nice that you can put on your belt for times you may want to take a walk in the woods

It has everything in it as shown in pic. It’s small back pack so open at top like a back pack. I thought it would open all the way around soU could lay it out flat and see what u have but that is not the case. I still kept it and will manage if ever needed

The first aid portion was very adequately supplied, the fire starter striker left something to be desired as it wasn’t a very good or easily directable spark but in a pinch it may work with good tinder. Fish hooks with leaders and a hundred feet of braided line and some snare wire wouldn’t be amiss

For this price i wish i had ordered 10,,just for Christmas presents,,,i gave one to my son and he loves it,first time ever!,lol,

I took a few items out for my daily uses and also added a few items to the kit that I think could be useful in an emergency situation. The items all seem to work and for the price you're getting a lot of value.

This kit really is ideal for anyone who enjoys hiking and being outdoors. It goes far beyond a simple first aid kit, and includes things like a fire-starter, flashlight, and a nice-sized, sharp knife if you find yourself in a tricky situation. I can't even pretend I know what everything in this kit does, but I imagine far more experienced outdoorsmen will appreciate the breadth of tools that are included. The pieces are all of good weight (ie not cheap and flimsy), but still compact enough to not add unnecessary weight to your pack. Just be aware that the flashlight does require one AA battery, which is not included. I'm glad I made that discovery before I needed to rely on the flashlight out on a hike or something. Overall, though, I highly recommend this product! It is a great value for all you get.
