The guards snap on tightly and is very secure. Adds a good amount of protection to the sides and bottom of the blades. Once you put them on you just need to tell the app that they are attached so the drone can account for the extra weight.

Definitely feel more confident flying my drone now with the extra protection. Fit Mavic air 2 perfectly, very tight fit. I thought about 3d printing some but this seemed stronger and the price was worth it. Highly recommend for beginner flyers

Quality seems good, what else to say?

As a first-time flyer, I assumed props guards would be like training wheels and a good safety investment. On-line forums almost unanimously recommend against them due to the risk of the drone getting hung up in a tree branch. I suppose there is truth in that, so I am included to only use the prop guards in areas without trees...which would be very rare.Build quality is fine, but they are difficult to get on. The snap connectors are just hard to snap on and off. The weight is minimal, and on my Mavic Air 2, the drone is able to sense when they are installed. I presume the drone's software does something to accommodate the guards, and I don't notice any effect on performance.Bottom line (for me) is that they are of limited use, so I can't really recommend them. Depending on where you fly they may be a worth while safety feature. Only you can decide on that.

The prop guards fit perfectly. They do, however shorten the battery usage. They should be used when the drone might crash into something or harm others. I purposely flew the drone into a fence and it suffered no damage. It just bounced off. These feel sturdy.

i thought they would sit above the propellers but they don't. but they are more for side impact protection so they work. seem pretty durable. i feel like they could protect the drone from quite an impact. fairly thick. each of the four pieces are labeled so helps with install. snaps are nice and tight so i have no fear of them falling off. they do add a bit of weight to the drone but not horrible. all in all i would say they are a good investment to protect the drone.

These guards are stronger and bigger than I expected, but the drone flies perfectly well with them (I would expect a minor hit to battery life). After crashing my drone into a printer while flying indoors, which I seriously do not recommend with the Mavic Air 2, I purchased a set of these and then gently nudged the drone into a wall: super simple recovery without crashing, and they look strong enough to take a moderate hit. Note that the drone cannot be folded with these on, and the whole assembly is *large*, but the mount or dismount easily without tools. If you're going to fly close to obstacles, these are a must have.

It's lightweight and snaps securely onto the Mavic Air2. I, accidentally, flew my Air2 into a tree where it got hung up on a branch 20-30 feet up, hanging sideways so the props wouldn't start up. Shortly after getting the drone stuck, a breeze blew and we could hear it dislodge from the tree. When it hit the ground it hit on the side. The propeller guard to the entire impact!!! saving the drone from certain doom. The propeller guard did crack around the clamp that holds it onto the arm of the drone, but still well worth the cost of the propeller guard, I will be ordering a replacement!
