It is exactly what I needed for an exterior application. Very well made

This thing is great. It's totally simple. I used it as a junction box for some CAT5e cable when installing security cameras. This involved drilling a hole on the back for a couple wires to get in, and drilling 6 holes along the bottom for cable glands. The plastic this is made of drills very easily, especially with step drills.This setup is, so far, working perfectly. It's proven to be nice and weatherproof, having been out there through multiple quite bad storms. The plastic is somewhat flexible, so I'm not concerned about it breaking if something hits it.I will probably be buying this box again for other projects.

I've enclosures like this one from several manufacturers, and this one meets the standards set by the best of them. The latches secure the cover; the water seal bead is effective; the screws provided to secure an internal mounting plate (not provided) to four of the bosses on the bottom of the box are handy; and the stainless steel brackets for wall-mounting the enclosure would work well if used. All in all, a good product at a fair price.

Not sure why these cases are so expensive, but this was as good of a value as I could find. Built an amplifier in it and it serves the purpose well.

Had to drill holes through the top for conduit. To ensure waterpoof aspect , used hole reducing washers on drilled holes.

Well done. Serves my purpose.

Exactly what I needed for a DIY project. I has high quality screws and an excellent seal against water on the lid.
