One Bass Fishing Reels Level Wind Trolling Reel Conventional Jigging Reel for Saltwater Big Game Fishing-Right Handed

I was a little skeptical buying these reels with the fear that they would be a cheap knock off. But I gave it them a try since replacement parts for my Shimano Charter Special TR-2000LD cost as much as the One Bass reel brand new.First some clarifications...the housing of these reels is not aluminum as implied in the pictures. It is mostly plastic? graphite? with some anodized parts in the handle. And some metal parts in the handle that are painted to look anodized.I transferred my spectra fishing line from the Shimano and could tell immediately that the One Bass did not have the smoothness or precision of the Shimano. But the action was good enough to give it a try.I was able to put the reel to the test yesterday morning off of Marblehead, MA. The lever to engage free spool seems to stick a little and I frequently had to adjust the spool position with my thumb before engaging free spool. An annoyance, but not a deal breaker. The smoothness of the drop of my jig to 120 feet was good enough. The smoothness of reeling in was fine. I caught 4 decent sized cod fish, some macks, and some pollock.For the price, I am more than satisfied. This is not the quality of a Penn or Shimano. But it is good enough for saltwater game fishing. I will revisit this post once I have some hours on the reel to test its durability.Update July 30, 2018: I've been catching a LOT of fish on this reel and it is performing great. Deep sea cod fishing on Stellwagen drop offs....no problem. Big stripers on mack chunks...piece of cake. Not a single sign of wear or corrosion. I'm upgrading my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. This reel is worth every penny compared to other products out there.

The reel itself is really super but when attracted the product to the ROD one of the mount crews could not tread into the nut I tried different method to get tread even did a reverse then it broke so I need the customer service to send me another mounting BOTL and NUT that fits each other. trying to find a contact number

Update. Seller/ costume service was very responsive and replaced the item.So far have been doing the job very well. I like my reel.I was looking for a medium heavy fishing reel and this one looked perfect and in a very good price.It looks great just like the picture.It feels wonderful in your hand.Easy to use and very good at casting.Apparently good materials.But....I used it for shore fishing and a 10 pounds snapper was to big for the reel.I have to said (and give the benefits of the dough) that it may be me who didn't use it correctly and that's why I gave it 3 stars.

at first i received my item in the mail, it felt sturdy and good rod and reel. when i was installing the bracket for reel to rod. the mounting bracket broke i wasn't very happy with the item. however i needed the rod and reel for pulling in 40+lb of spoonbill that weekend. so i repaired it and went on with my trip and the reel in amazing. i didn't have much issue reeling in the 40+lb spoonbill. after the trip, i got hold of the distributor and advised of the issue. they have agreed to replace my item free of charge.overall i am happy with the product

I just used it for the 1st time yesterday did not perform at all, standard when I thought it would, one of gears not working Bring the fish up... (Can I please have my money back)

recieved the 4 reels this afternoon on the very first reel, it sat nicely in the rod-reel guides but when I tightened the reel bolts one snapped.torqued off in two pieces , flush with the bolt. Please send another bolt-the-reel on the rod set of nuts and bols. The other three reels were on in less than 10 minutes I tried writing your directly at [email protected] as advertised in the box but my email was rejected Please help Thank You David Deam

i bought this reel for my father who's 85 and had trouble using his open faced reels, but not with this one... he said "had i know of this one sooner , i would have bought it sooner", he LOVES it. Yes, i would highly recommend this to others. and the price is not bad since the quality is so good.

Great customer service, I ordered 2 one bass reels from Zhifu Trade Co. Ltd, one of the reels the gears were defective and the other has proven to be one of my best reels. I contacted the company and Alissa from the company took care of me replacing the broken reel, I have brought many fishing reels in my life and can say without a doubt these reels compare to any popular name brand reels out there. I have pulled in shark, a 40lb black drum and several reds with no problem it is my go to reel now, the price is right and the customer service is second to none thanks again Alissa!

Got it from Amazon Warehouse deal at a good price. It looks pretty in appearance and quality though I haven't got chance to try it in practice.

Pensavo che certe aziende avessero capito che sul mercato possono arrivare solo prodotti che hanno le caratteristiche descritto e dove il cliente può avvalersi per effettuare l'acquisto. Io sono stato ingannato appunto dalla descrizione imprecisa e lo restituisco perché non risulta essere idoneo per la pesca di grosse přede. Consiglio a tutti di non acquistarlo perché è un giocattolo

Like the reel , didn’t get a chance to try it as one of the screws snapped while attaching it to the rod ,,, problems threading , not sure where to find parts

Il mulinello ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ne ho acquistato uno e poi altri due visto che vanno benissimo. Li utilizzo regolarmente in mare e a differenza di altri la salsedine gli fa un baffo.Sono pienamente soddisfatto .

Dopo solo due 2 ore di utilizzo la frizione non funziona più.. Mi sono trovato in mezzo al mare impossibilitato a pescare..durante il recupero la frizione non blocca ed il filo continua a uscire...
