ORCA vs CONDOR: EMT Rip-Away Pouch
ORCA vs CONDOR: EMT Rip-Away PouchORCA (Black) / CONDOR (Red)First, let me state that I am not an expert in emergency medicine. I have taken CLS (Combat Life Saver) a few times before deploying and was a CNA nearly two decades ago. However, I feel a moral obligation to tend to someone in an emergency.I have two trauma kits (depending on what bag I bring with me), so I have one kit with me at all times. One is an ORCA and one is a CONDOR. They are very similar and very good pouches.Within my pouches, I keep:SECTION 1:--Chest seal (2 pack)--Trauma (bleeding) pack--6 2x2, 2 3x3, 2 4x4, 1 5x9 Abdominal sterile gauze pads--3 2-gram CELOX powder packs--6 pack of nasopharyngeal airways (all sizes) with lube--CPR mask--3 sets of nitrile gloves--Medical sheersSECTION 2:--CAT tourniquet--SWAT-T tourniquet--Israeli bandage or bandages--4” sterile stretch gauze--Extra CPR maskSECTION 3:--BooBoo Kit (ice pack, bandages, burn gel, antiseptic, alcohol wipes, antibiotic creams)What I like about ORCA vs. CONDORORCA:--Stitching seems better--The elastic is more “elastic”--ORCA has square corners, so slightly more stuff fits better than CONDOR--ORCA comes with first aid patch and mesh bag--Several dollars cheaper than CONDORWhat I like about CONDOR vs. ORCA--Material is a little better quality. So if you plan on opening/closing/taking stuff out all the time, I think the fabric may hold up longer in the CONDOR. But for its intended use as a trauma kit, both bags are perfect.--Offered in RedOverall, for its intended use, I give the edge to the ORCA for value and overall being a better product, but they are both quality bags and both deserve a 5-Star in my opinion.

Update to "Snaps tore Out"
Ok, this is an update to my previous review, which was 1 star. I didn't expect anything and I didn't ask anything. I just tossed the broken velcro attachment plate in the trash, tossed the old bag in the spare parts bin and went on looking for plan B for my med kit in the Jeep Overland Vehicle. Low and behold...just a week after my negative review...I get a brand new bag (with working snaps) in the mail. My surprise was total and of course my wife was giving me a hard time for buying "another one". When I explained her only comment; "you should keep buying from those guys, they stand by their gear". Well, I guess I have to eat crow and say, I was wrong. The kit works and I have to keep in mind that you can make 1000 perfect products and one bad, to the guy that gets the bad, it's all bad. That isn't true and I got that lesson in spades. I would say regardless of the quality or even if this new bag had failed as well, it was the customer service that won me over. Buy their gear...if for no other reason, the company will take care of you.

Well, I just don't have anything negative to say...yet...I'll update over time.
PROS:(1) I love the break-away option. It allows you to rip it off without unlatching it. It does have a strap to keep in on in the event of a strong enough (or intentional) tearing of it off your gear, but I'm not putting diamonds into it, so I don't need super-security.*note: this can just stick on any ole Velcro too, in case you don't even want to mount it on a MOLLE platform. The bag has the hooks, and the fuzzy side is on the MOLLE-mountable pad.(2) Good zipper, good sewing/stitching, thick and light fabric (feels sturdy: both the bag and the MOLLE straps), and love the "red cross" patch as an easy observational indicator.(3) Price. I paid nineteen dollars which was only three dollars more than the cheaper ones without the patch and break-away feature.(4) The molle on the front: some other ones only MOUNTED on Molle, they didn't have molle straps on front too.(5) I love the internal straps. They are all lightweight and thin, so if I don't use them for anything, they don't take up lots of room.CONS:I haven't found any yet. I'll update when after using it for a while.*note: the bag looks a little scrunched here because I have my phone case hooked through 2 straps, instead of one. It would look fuller and flatter if not for my wanting to cinch it tight.

Wish I Had Bought This Pouch Before Others
I already had a bleeding/trauma pouch and a small first aid/trauma bag when I bought this pouch. I bought this pouch to store and carry mainly skin and wound care items and medicines for my special needs child. I was able to fit ALL the stuff I needed and wanted to carry in this pouch. My child has major skin problems ranging from eczema to MRSA infections and requires numerous medications, gauzes, wraps and more. She is also immunocompromised and has problems with hypoglycemia, so everything included in this pouch is necessary and serves a purpose. This pouch has the ability to hold A LOT of stuff. It would be ideal for a trauma/bleeding kit and expands nicely to accommodate numerous items. The bag itself is very solid, durable and it has many loops and pockets to hold your items. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had bought this pouch first for my trauma kit, and still might buy one and switch all my stuff over from my smaller pouch. I'll include a list of items contained in the pouch since I didn't take a pic with the items laid out.6 - 4x4 gauze8 - 3x4 non-adherent pads4 - 3x4 medicated non-adherent pads2 - ABD pads1 - 4 oz. bottle Hibiclens1 - 125mL emergency water pouch1 - glucose gel pack1 - electrolyte powder packet1 - trauma shears6 - extra large band aids10 - large band aids10 - medium band aids10 - alcohol wipes10 - BZK wipes1 - Coban2 - 4" elastic gauze (1 unrolled and folded)1 - transpore tape4 - 4" rolled stretch gauze2 - saline flushes1 - 5mL dosing syringe1 - 10 mL dosing syringe2 pair nitrile glovesNumerous tubes of antibiotic and steroid ointments and creams

Awesome Med-Kit But The Quality Control is Lacking.
I really love this med-kit for my MOLLE backpack. The selling feature for me was the 'tear away' design without having to take the MOLLE straps off. With it strapped to the side of my pack, I can even tear it off quickly in an emergency by reaching behind me without having to remove my pack! The retaining belt and clip holds it firmly into place preventing it from snagging and tearing off accidentally, which is great. It holds plenty of medical gear. Pretty much everything you'd need and room for a little more. Just an awesome med-kit bag at a very reasonable price. The one thing I was disappointed in was upon opening the package the top MOLLE strap on the front wasn't properly sewn on and was hanging off. Probably just a dud that made it out of the factory. It isn't a big deal for me, but the quality control is lacking as it was the first thing I noticed when I looked at it, so how it got past QC is a mystery to me. But again, I'm not using that strap and the hassle of having to return it for such a minor issue wasn't worth it for me. I'm happy to live with the defect as it doesn't affect functionality.Other than the questionable QC, this bag is my favorite out of the others on Amazon and I'm still very happy with the purchase. I'm even considering buying another. Would like to see more colour options, but the camo suits me fine. Definitely recommend.

Great Product From a Great Seller
Excellent quality. Bigger than I first thought- in a good way. Fits all the necessary stuff for my range first aid kit while still being compact enough that it's not burdensome to include in my range bag. No problem with: sof-t tourniquet, quickclot gauze pad, Celox powder, Israeli Bandage, chest seal, airway tube/lube, medical shears, small bandages, burn gel, roll of gauze, surgical tape, and, 2 pairs of nitrate gloves.Customer service was very accommodating and helpful. Great seller. Happy to recommend.

Well laid out pouch. Tension wasn't set right for part of the stitching, but I am impressed over all. using this for my work first aid kit, and had to us it this week. Kept gear organised as I worked on someone, instead of everything coming out to get what I need from the bottom of my pack/pouch.

Quick removal allows for better quality care for the patient
When attached to a vest I suggest use 2. 1 on each side. One is filled with splinting material. The second filled with bleeding control. Quick removal allows for better quality care for the patient.

Versatile!
Awesome and versatile! The exterior material is really durable but the interior material is just ok but for the price it has held up pretty well. The organizational elastics are pretty loose so it can only support larger items. Hence the additional meshed compartment.

Great little EMT pouches
Great little EMT pouches! my only issue is that the buckle is half on top and half in front which make it awkward. It should have been centered on the front of the pouch.

A must for a First Aid Kit (ifak)
Awesome first aid bag. Very well made, lots of room, easy access, great molle system, metal D-rings and can be secured very well.
