SIMPATCH – Guardian, Enlite Adhesive Patch (25-Pack) – Waterproof Adhesive, CGM Patches – Multiple Color Options

This "overtape" for my Medtronic Guardian CGM sensor/transmitter is a huge improvement over the "oval" tape supplied by Medtronic. The SimPatch is very easy to apply wrinkle-free, and it certainly keeps the sensor secured for the 7 day life of the sensor. I've had no premature sensor failures since using SimPatch (about 6 weeks) -- a big improvement compared to my use of the default Medtronic tape over several years. SimPatch is also relatively easy to remove, with little or no adhesive residue left on my skin or the CGM transmitter. Well done!

My husband is allergic to the standard tape that the Medtronic CGM comes with, so we've tried all sorts of alternatives throughout the years. This is the best that we've found, hands down. It's super simple to apply versus any of the taping methods recommended to us for the standard adhesive. We've been recommending them to all of our other T1 friends and family and will definitely be buying more once this batch runs out.

I wear a guardian 3 CGM and all the products I've tried have given me a bloody blistery rash. Simpatch is the only product I will use from now on to help secure my transmitter. No rashes, no bleeding and definitely no irritation. Thank you for making such an amazing product!

PLEASE TRY IF YOU HAVE STRUGGLED TO KEEP YOUR SENSOR ATTACHED AS I HAVE IN THE PAST...…..I used patch to cover my sensor while on a cruise to the Caribbean. The SIMPATCH kept my sensor attached for 7 days even after getting in the ocean 5 of the 7 days, showers and exercising. Throw away adhesives that come with your sensors if you swim and are active and try these.Shave the area where sensor will go, clean with alcohol, insert sensor then patch....done! wait 2hrs before getting wet because your body heat activates the adhesive on the Simpatch.FYI....Pumper for 20+ years. I use Medtronic 670g pump with Guardian Enlite Sensor, I wear my sensor on my hip, below the waistline.

Love the product. Medtronic tape doesn't stick well to me, this keeps everything in place, I'm comfortable pulling my jeans up when it's on my thigh, doesn't pull up on the edges for me either. Only hurts when it comes off for a moment but doesn't leave any marks. Been using for a few weeks now and no issues.

My husband is a type 1 diabetic. He wears a sensor on his arm to track his glucose. The drawback if wearing the sensor where it works best is that it is constantly catching on things and getting pulled out. The Simpatch completely covers the sensor and prevents this. We are still in our first order but so far very happy! Will prob order again and again.

I am new to CGM and have the Medtronic Guardian 3. This was the most recommended overtape from my diabetic friends and the reviews here looked decent. It has not lived up to my expectations.Pros: there really only is one, I do not react adversely to the adhesive like I do to the Medtronic tape. They are also comfortable but not any better/worse than the Medtronic overtape.Cons: It is horrible holding up to water, especially swimming. I both enjoy taking long baths and swim a lot during the summer. Neither hold up well especially the swimming. I have had multiple failed sensors after swimming, these are not water resistant enough to keep the chlorine from the sensor. I have had to use a Medtronic overtape over the sensor before using this overtape which means I still react to the Medtronic adhesive, taking away the only pro of this tape. Swimming for just one hour has left the patch completely unattached on one side and barely keeping the sensor and transmitter hanging on. This is even when the sensor is on the upper arm and not spending 100% of the time submerged. Very disappointing.I still haven’t been able to find a product that works better so for now I keep trying to make these patches work. Medtronic will replace sensors that fail early so at least I’m not loosing money on them although it would be nice to not have to replace them so often. But if I can find an overtape that holds up to water, I will be ditching these in a heartbeat!

These are great!! We bought these for my son who is a type 1 diabetic with a sensor and a pump. He is 9 years old and VERY active. He says they're very comfortable and I love how easy they are to remove when a sensor change is needed. I highly recommend these.
