Speedo Men's Poly Mesh Square Leg Swimsuit

I love these trucks. However, I’ve modified them just a bit. I cut out the inner lining. That leaves me with just the mesh and the drawstring. They still function perfectly except now they’re completely see-through. Good price, they fit perfectly and they’re amazingly comfortable. I like them so much i’m sure I’ll purchase them again.

Has performed pretty well in all types of pools, no fraying or degradation of the fabric with several miles of lap swimming. Good value, I would size up for a more “comfortable” fit for larger individuals.

Yes I am giving this 5 stars but I am having to return it for the following reasons. It fits as expected and the short length is about perfect for the fitness and exercise swimming that I bought the suit for. Because of the short leg length, I thought it would work great at eliminating the need to constantly 'hitch-up' my legs to give me room to maneuever for high kicks, knees and other exercises requiring large leg movements. I do have an issue with the fabric or lack of fabric in the front panel. I realize that the Spandex fabric used is more tight fitting but a bit more up-front would have made a big diffence in my case. It allowed for more of my manhood to be visibly outlined and made me worry about having a looky-looky episode by anyone inclined to do so. And I think it would be especially revealing after it became wet with a dunk in the pool and I'm afraid it would be even worse. It's not being in the pool and under water that bothers me about the possible modesty problem but it would be after I get in and afterwards getting out that would be an issue. And if my wife was uncomfortable me being so "front and center" with my manhood, then it would draw more attention than I necessarily would be uncomfortable with.

I am a size 30 in jeans so I thought it would be fine if I ordered a size 30 in these. I had seen other posts recommending to order a sizer bigger but I though: "Nah, that can't be my case." I got a size 30 and everything fit nicely except for the part above the thighs. It felt really tight, as if it was going to cut off blood flow. I am super fit, swimmer build but I guess my thighs are above average thickness. I've ordered a size 32 and it was a little tight still but better fit. You might have to order 1 to 2 sizes bigger depending on the thickness of your legs. Otherwise, they seem to be a great product. I've tried them out in the pool, no complaints. I feel more comfortable wearing them because they have a looser look due to the mesh. They look great.

Fits well and is comfortable. Far superior to those that I got from my team.

I love it its comfortable and perfect. Only thing is a little tighter than i would like. I would recommend getting one size larger than you are anticipating. would give 4.7 stars but 5/5 is fair

I was always careful not to wring out the water after swimming in these briefs; yet the stitches started coming apart after a relatively short amount of time which made them essentially unusable as the holes began to get bigger. (See attached pix.) I tried getting them fixed at a tailor shop but without specialized equipment for these briefs the stitches didn't last long either. Afterwards I went back to the tailor who just advised: "You are better off getting a new one." I took his advice to buy new briefs, but declined to buy another one of these.

This is like the old speedo's durable and great for lap swimming. May be color fast too, but not sure yet. Legs are a little tight, but I have skinny legs and I like it. Sizing is similar to pants size. I'm an older guy and didn't want to look like I had a jock on, so I opted for this suit. It's been great, even though most of the current speedo products fall apart and even lose their shape.

These are a great middle ground between briefs and trunks. I purchased them when I started swimming for fitness. The size guide is reliable. Fits as advertised. Comfortable and discreet. The drawstring pulls as tight as you want and ties firmly. You can squeeze out most of the water pretty easily. All in all, it’s a good buy. If you’re choosing between different products of this class, I am happy to endorse this one as a safe buy. You can’t go wrong.

Hello. The top line: I like the workmanship and quality of the material and will buy the suit again. NOTE: Speedo 36 here measures as 31 inch waist. SEE PHOTOS WHAT I LIKE: The colors and workmanship are good. The Speedo logo is embroidered into the suit, it is not an ironed-on piece of plastic film. Once I got my correct size, the suit is very comfortable. The part of the suit that is black is two layers, the other colour is a single layer. The fabric height on the side of the suit is 4 inches, more traditional height than the narrow thong style racing suits, good for the public beach. THE FITTING I read many reviews of this Speedo suit and many buyers found the sizes fit smaller than they expected. I decided to order in sizes larger than my waist size . My waist is 30 to 31 in jeans, and I am 5'5" 135 lbs. I ordered the Speedo splice spark in sizes 34 and 36. The size 34 was so tight around the leg openings that I IMMEDIATELY gave up on that size. The size 36 fit very well, comfortable, trim, but not excessively tight in the waist or the leg openings, good room for private parts too. The suit sits about 1-2 inches below the belly button, depending on your height ! 36 is the size number for me. I did some measurements (see my photos) and discovered that the size number 36 in the Speedo Splice Spark actually only has a 31 inch waist. So this discrepancy in sizing is causing many people disappointment when they order what they believe is their correct size in the Speedo. You may need to order an assortment of sizes to find what fits best for you. I am not a lap swimmer, just wanted a nice swim brief for the beach. Once I got my size sorted out, I am very happy with my new Speedo Splice Spark.
