Round Boot Shoelaces 3/16" Thick Heavy Duty Strings for Work, Hiking Shoes, Combat - 27" to 72" Length Shoe Laces

I like these thick shoelaces for my casual shoes. They’re a little stretchy, which helps prevent tying the laces too tight. They seem durable, I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now. The brown color is a perfect replacement for my old ones. They are an inch longer than the original ones but that’s OK.

These laces were a perfect replacement for the ones that came with my hiking shoes.

Replaced thin and poor laces in two pairs of tennis shoes. Ordered a second pair of laces due to the quality of these ordered. Size was spot on and stretched well and are making my shoes feel new. They hold up nicely and are very durable.

I hate it when the original laces on my sneakers wear out. It seems that I can never find the color, type and quality of the originals, which significantly reduces the joy factor of slipping on such comfort for casual wear, walking or running. However, I have never before shopped for shoelaces on Amazon, where there is an unbelievably large selection. After exhaustive and rigorous research, I was pleased to buy these laces to replace the originals on my blue & white Nike running shoes. Although the originals were 50" in length, these 54-inchers were as close a fit as I could find for the [apparent] quality and weight I wanted. I am quite satisfied with my selection. The color is perfect and the quality is as high or higher than the originals. The extra length is really no problem, and I like the way these laces tie and untie - easy as pie. It is only for the fact that these laces do not come in 50" length that I would not give a 5-star rating.

This is a "dual-review" of two different pairs of laces: flat laces (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ESVW41K) and round laces (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EM1YCT8). I had recently bought a pair of dress shoes (sort of moderately dressy) and didn't expect the laces that came with them to last long (seems they never do). In the hope that these would fare better, I bought two pairs of laces, one round and the other flat. The original laces with the shoes only lasted 44 days. I replaced the laces with one each of these new laces, flat on the left, round on the right. That was on November 23, 2014. In early May of 2015 the round pair showed signs of wear and were clearly beginning to fail. On May 31, 2015 the round lace broke. The flat pair shows only very minimal signs of wear. So, the round lace lasted 189 days, about six months and a week. I have replaced both laces with the second from each pair, putting the flat on the right shoe this time and the round on the left, in case I'm unconsciously harder on the right lace. I will update this post when the next lace breaks. At this point, I am reasonably satisfied with the round lace. Six months is a reasonable life expectancy for a shoe lace for shoes worn daily (or nearly so). I am more impressed with the flat laces, which I believe will last significantly longer (stay tuned). So, for now, five starts for flat, four for round. On March 9, 2016, the flat shoelace on my right shoe broke. It lasted 283 days on the right shoe. The round lace on the left shoe was just about to break, so I'll call it a tie this time. I think I must be rougher on my right shoelace than the left. I still think the flat laces are a bit better than the round pair in terms of expected lifespan but I'm willing to improve my rating on the round pair to five. Both very good shoelaces.

This is my second order of the shoelaces. My first order was for a "whea"t colored shoe lace, which I ordered based upon the picture and color depicted on the website. However, when the laces arrived, the color was not like the picture - not close - somewhat orange color. I therefore contact Amazon for a refund. I was graciously informed that I could keep the laces and place a reorder - which I did - for a different color - brown ( again based upon the picture and color depicted). The shoelaces arrived - but the "brown" color was somewhat darker than the picture depicted on the website. However its okay and I decided to keep and use same - although would prefer laces that with a lighter shade of brown. The laces were slightly bigger ( width) than I thought - but are functional and color/size aside, appear to be well made so far.

As others have noted these are brown but not dark. Regardless, they showed up the color advertised and the length I requested. When ordering replacement laces, be sure to select the desired color. If possible, measure the old shoelaces first to ensure you have the right length. Unless you were close to a nuclear blast that somehow vaporized your shoelaces but neither you nor the rest of your clothes, this should be possible even if a shoelace breaks. These laces work as you would expect a shoelace to work. I laced my shoes, and tied the laces together. I made it through several workdays without any problems. My shoes stayed on my feet, and while the color did not perfectly match my brown business casual shoes, I also did not look like a clown. What else can one ask from shoelaces?

Pleased with the product however it took longer to arrive.

Buen producto, el color es tal como lo esperaba. No es tan intenso como en la foto principal, sino más como la foto de acercamiento. Excelente precio y llegó un día antes de lo esperado. No aplicaron tarifas de importación afortunadamente. Lamentablemente no use la tabla de medidas y me pasé de largo, así que ahora pediré una medida más corta. Las actuales las usaré en otros tenis.

Mis agujetas anteriores sufrieron de moho, y no encontré en ningún lado unas nuevas largas para mis.botas hasta que di con estas. Gracias 💜
