Why is this being advertised as osha and ansi compliant without scissors, cpr maskand, at least one blanket?

This kit is OSHA ANSI compliant according to Z308.1-2009 Guidelines. Scissors, CPR Masks, and Blankets are not a requirement for this classification. Additional first aid components may be required depending on the workplace category, such as Eye Wash Station, Hazardous Cleanup Kits, and Respiratory Devices.

Does the ice pack expire?

Hello Karah G,Yes, the Ice Pack has an expiration date. If the ice packs are stored in mild/room temperatures the effectiveness of the ice packs can last well beyond the expiration dates. However, if they are stored in high temperatures, the effectiveness of the ice pack may begin to degrade after the expiration date. It will still work, but may not get as cold as it was designed to.
