Cloudray CO2 Power Supply for CO2 Cutter Engraver Cutter Engraving Machine Category with Monitor

My old power supply was arcing so replaced like for like (the small blue one) and that was faulty so decide to go with cloudray.Unit was a bit larger and heavier but a bit of juggling and it's in and running well.Still not sure what the display does .but nice kit

I have only just fitted it but so far so good. Replaced a worn out supply that came in my second hand machine. Plug and play, easy to move over and great that it comes with a digital Ma meter (even if I did have to 3D print an enclosure for it). The only thing I would change about this is I would either a) provide it with the same Cloudray high voltage connector as you sell separately (this is what I have connected to my tube or b) supply the power supply with just the connector with no cable attached as I had to cut the supplied connector off and attach mine (which is also Cloudray but doesnt fit this connector)

Needed a new tube, so decided at 5 years old the psu should be swapped out too. Arrived promptly (though the ammeter was supplied with a crack in the screen making it useless, Amazon did however replace this fairly quickly). Installed new tube and psu, re-aligned all mirrors and replaced focus lens - all good I thought. Started cutting out a sheet of 3mm birch ply and after 6 mins the laser cut out, ammeter screen went blank…(gantry is still moving as expected). 30 seconds later the laser kicks back in and starts cutting again and ammeter now registers again. This intermittent behaviour lasted throughout the job, with about 50% of the items only partially cut. Tried a different file and the same behaviour! I put the old psu back in and hey presto it now cuts/engraved perfectly again. Returned for a refund which Amazon executed without fuss or delay. Although not happy with the psu, Amzazon behaved impressively - Thank you.

This 60w CO2 laser power supply came with remote LCD power meter. Made a box/console to mount LCD power meter so that the power that is being supplied to the laser can be easily monitored. (the MYJG60W-Y had the LCD power meter in the casing which meant that you could only monitor the power with the side open). Delivery was next day which was excellent.

Bought this as a replacement PSU for my K40. Plugged straight in and fired up with no issues. Can't speak for quality or longevity yet, it's just a paper Cloudray sticker on the side of it so probably originates from the same place as the standard K40 PSU.

Easy to fit

Upon receiving the item, it was evident that the box had been resealed. Upon opening it, I found a power supply that appeared used—the outer film was noticeably damaged, indicating prior installation. I opted to return it immediately, so I cannot speak to its reliability as I didn't install it myself.

Perfect swap for the stock K40 power supply. No rewiring required. Whole job took 10 minutes.Make sure you have hot glue to insulate the positive to the laser tube
