Knipex 97 22 240 9,45" Crimping Pliers | For Cable Connectors and Plug Connectors; With Stripping and Cutting Function

Construction is solid, best tool of this type I've seen. I it to work on wiring a German made dynamo lighting system for a bicycle. I probably could have used my cheap, old Imperial crimping tool, but this Knipex made the the crimps perfectly--strong, solid and relatively easy to accomplish. For many times the price there are better crimpers on the market. The main difference is that they are easier to operate, closing both ends of the crimp (terminal and stress relief) in a single squeeze to the tool. This tool requires the two parts to be crimped separately. Not a big deal if you are only doing a few crimps. Wire cutters and stripper functions all worked nicely as well.

Knifed is hands down the best pliers for any brand on the market. I buy tools from the tool trucks and every dealer sells these next to there own brand for a reason. Because they are the best and these strippers are no different. Should be noted though these are metric sizes for striping, though I use them in everything just fine.

I personally hate these style pliers that come with every basic kits. They come in handy for the crimps, but I started using these style again when I found KNIPEX had a version. Can’t believe I actually use the stripping feature on these now too cuz I usually find it more annoying, but because it’s knipex and such quality I say what the heck.

Exactly what I wanted, though it's likely used and or reject stock for minor imperfections. Taking into account the large discount from buying on Amazon vs buying from a dealer I'm still happy.

Fantastic! Works so well on insulated terminals. Snips at end are nice and sharp. As an electrician, I love Knipex's hand tools.

I had a cheap generic pair of this kind of "household-size" wire strippers/crimpers that never worked well, so I asked online for recommendations for a good wire stripper for wires 10 AWG to 18 AWG or so.... I ordered another type that was recommended, but found this one and it was the most expensive of this type so I ordered it also. It costs some money but it does work perfectly. The metal is about 50% thicker than the others I've seen, and the fit and finish is great. It is marked in metric wire sizes and metric bolt sizes but that is to be expected. ...If I would have had this one originally, I would not have gone looking for another one.

If you are looking at this, just click buy. There's no need to contemplate the purchase. You're looking because you've bought six different strippers and they all suck. This pair doesn't suck. It's twice as thick as everyone else's. It doesn't twist. Like everything Knipex makes, it is perfection for the task it was designed to perform.If you need to strip Cat 5/6, buy their tube striper for that task. It's equally awesome.

A thousand times better than any cheap harbor freight special. Very sturdy and sharp. Heavy use for 2 months and still cut/strip like brand new. Exactly what you'd expect out of Knipex

Bu alet geldiğinden beridir kayıpsız şekilde 2 farklı boyutta 8-10 tane pabuç sıkma işi yaptım ve hatasız bir şekilde çok güzel işler çıktı. Evet basit bir el aleti fakat daha önce görüp de kullanmadığım diğer sıkma penselerinden kat ve kat daha kaliteli bir hissiyatı var.
