I like. the book but it. goes into. too much. detail. for my needs. I don't and. can't. have a business but I donate many. things. to silent auctions, and church events. Sometimes I'm asked. to "put a price". on. something I've. made. I haven't figured. out. a. way to do that. by reading this. particular book

I am hoping it helps me improve my craft business.

I'm certainly not done reading the entire book yet, but thus far, this book is fantastic! I feathered through some of the chapters and read bits & pieces just to see what was contained in this book, and I was quite surprised and pleased with what I saw and read. Everything that is important to know and do, to be a seller of home-made crafts is in this book!! Author James Dillehay definitely traversed all aspects of pricing crafts over the years through his own first-hand experiences. Therefore, I am so grateful to have found this book, which will alleviate all the possible hurdles I might have encountered in my journey to price & sell my crafts. James Dillehay just relinquished all the hardship I very likely could have endured! So this book is an absolute recommendation!

This book was a great addition to my crafts library. I have been making furniture and many other handmade wood products for years. And was just happy to cover my materials and a little for my work time. This book taught me how to charge and honest and fair rate for my crafts and not feel ashamed. And it was much easier than spending time in a business course. Not to mention made my wife happy that I am finally earning what she felt my talent was worth. And also had a couple of close clients say they were glad to see my adjusted prices. Sheepishly said they always thought I wasn't charging enough but if I was happy they were more then happy.

Great book. Well written and full of important information. Not only did it give pricing advice but also business advice. I was happy that pricing handcrafted and one of a kind items was also included.

I bought this for information and it did not disappoint. I read it from cover to cover, but will now go back and select relevant sections as I need them.

This is the second book by James Dillehay that I have bought. I do art and craft, and I am interested in selling some pieces, and I do not know how to price things. I have had a flip through this book already, and it looks matter of fact, and not wishy washy.

The book teaches the pricing, highlighting and ideas on how to price crafts, guides and things make to sell.

So disappointed in the redundancy of both books by this authorized. These books could have be summarized in one book. I felt cheated buying both books due to the duplication of content. Would recommend buying one or the other only. Buyer beware!
