The media could not be loaded.  I have truly enjoyed using this product for more than 3 months now. I can now cook my noodles without them overflowing. I do find that oiling the top edge or butter helps create a seal when setting the overflow lid on. I also like this one more than others because of the opening in the middle which allows me to move the noodles around in the water while they cook.

This exceeded my expectations. Great thick quality silicone. I use it in a pot when I make chai tea. It was always overflowing and spoiling everywhere. This totally prevents it. The product exceeds expectations and I use it daily. It’s dishwasher safe too!

I have been wanting one of these silicone lids for a while now. Seeing the low price, I hadn't thought it would be as top quality as it is. If I had the money, I would buy one or two for everyone I know who doesn't have one! Pasta cooks quicker and vegetables steam quicker too. I accidentally left this on a burner and it didn't even melt! Dishwasher safe and fits most medium and large pots. I even used this when frying, but I think it is much better suited to boiling and steaming. Well worth the purchase! Plus it is rather pretty too.

This stopper lid really can avoid the spill.One thing is that you need to watch the steam from below pot when you either stir in the pot or remove it from the pot.Need to handle with care.Product itself really works though.Will recommend to friends.

I would not recommend it as the product gives out an odor which I suspect the material is not food grade.

All I can say is this product really works! I don’t have to deal with boiling water spilling over onto my stovetop! I love this thing, so I bought 3 more, one for each of my daughters.

After receiving the spill over cover as a gift, I gave one to both of my daughters-in-law. It is remarkably handy. Other brands do not have a removable center, which is very handy to have. You can stir through it.

My older other manufactured boil pot product from the Kitchen Store years ago suctions onto the open edge of a hot stockPot retaining boiling liquid. This one is decorative only. Stock, water, soup boils out from underneath this tool all over my stovetop.

Just place this on top of your saucepan when boiling potatoes/pasta etc - as the water boils up it will rise up through the central hole and remain in the saucer-like shape of this device, rather than spilling over onto your stovetop/hob. My only negative is that the central “cap” is quite heavy and it sometimes doesn’t left up - I fix this by resting the top a quarter turn around so that it creates a partly open vent. Works like a dream.
