PGN Flux Core Welding Wire - E71T-11 .035 Inch, 10 Pound Spool - Gasless Mild Steel MIG Welding Wire with Low Splatter - For All Position Arc Welding

I was never a fan of flux core wire. But, this wire is great. I have used name brand wire like hobart, and cheap stuff from HF. That wire left porous welds full of slag with lots of splatter. This wire left a light dusting and a clean smooth weld, and minimum splatter. Completely changed my mind about flux core wire. Great vertical welds, penetration, and pooling. I WILL buy this again.

I use it in my old trusty workhorse Chicago Electric MIG170 I've had for 10 years. Works better than the HF wire I had to pick up to finish my project while waiting for these to arrive. Lays down a nice bead, penetrates well, does multi-pass with no issues. Only downside I have found is it produces more spatter and mess than the INE brand wire I normally run. It is about half the price though so I think I will continue to use this. It is well worth the money!

Seems like good wire but i knocked off one star because the reel had a broke corner, shipping issue i guess. Still fine to use

Bought this instead of buying a high priced name brand and it worked great, it made clean welds, had good penetration and overall just made it easier to have clean welds.

First off, the vacuum Sealed packaging & the "Moisture Wicking" Silica packet as well as the protective wrap around the flux cored wire kept the wire contaminate Free & the Cardboard Shipping box & the packing paper kept the wire & the Spool 100% in tact & the wire "Consumable" Performs Flawlessly both on clean as well as "unprepped" base materials!! For the price there's Not 1 of the Name Brand flux core Brands that can come Even Remotely Close to the Quality & Very Low price!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor & buy it as I KNOW from Year's of fabrication/Welding Experience it's an "Unbeatable" Deal !!! I HIGHLY Reccomend it to All!!!!!

I had to cut apart an old spool in order to adapt this to fit on my welder but it works just as well as the wire I spend way more money on to pick up locally and it will last way longer.

Great product and it actually welds better than Lincoln flux core wire and what you get at harbor freight. Will buy again when needed

Ran the wire a few time got it dialed in at 310 ipm and 19.6 on 3/8” plate and it runs very smooth. Arc length about 3/8” and feels like 323 wire. Very impressive I’d say. Definitely buying this wire from now on. Also the package was in great shape and properly wrapped and sealed. Good job PGN you’ve created a long time customer.
