An Invisible Thread: A Young Readers' Edition

I LOVE the Young Reader's Edition.. I am always looking for books for my 8th grade son to read. I homeschool him and I put a heavy emphasis on comprehension. I'm not sure what was changed to make it a young reader's edition from the original version, but it was appropriate for both of my children to read and the language level was appropriate. My 13 year old read this book aloud to me and his 8 year old brother. We all enjoyed it.

My middle school students are reading this now, as a class. They’re enjoying it. We are studying autobiographies and biographies. Maurice is just a little younger than my students so they can definitely relate to him. The free Kindle app is a big help as I do not own a nook or kindle. This is ideal for virtual learning. Perfect to share my screen with students and have the book right there.

Great story that will warm your young readers’ hearts!

An Invisible Thread was one of the greatest books I have ever read. You would never stop and think about how one act of kindness could change somebody's life, but it can and does! This book talks all about kindness and shows that one small decision to be kind can make a huge impact on someone. 5 out of 5 stars I totally recommend this amazing story! - Emma, 6th Grade Age 11

My daughter doesn't love reading, but she couldn't put this book down. She recommended it to all her friends and had them read it too. I also read it and am in total agreement, a must read.
