Excellent bug zapper
I like the product it really does attract and kill the flying insects. Was skeptical at first but the product is actually great I always have it on in the kitchen and living room. Gets rid of mosquitoes. Thanks

Works like a charm!!
We just moved into a new home where we pretty quickly realized we were in for a battle with pesky, aggressive flies. Every time we opened especially The garage door and the front door, the end result would be the merciless attack of a single, unrelenting fly. This product put an end to that. We've only plugged in 3 of the zappers around the house, including in the garage - and we haven't seen a fly since. SUPER happy with this product!

Don’t believe in advertising
We live in Florida, the mosquito capital of the world. They just laugh at the fly swatter cause they know your dead meat when the lights go off. I saw these and thought my nightmare would be over. They don’t work! The mosquitoes use them to breed in. These things are worthless. Now trying something else, I may lose the battle but I’m going to win the war. I think I’m going to send the bugs to the White House. They can bite the backside of the worm who lives there.

Ok Nite lights --- Terrible Bug Zappers!!
These bug zappers do not work.I bought six of them, plugged all of them all in around the house which was loaded with lots of flies and fruit flies, and gleefully waited excitedly to finally have a pest-free home.To my surprise... Nothing!!I checked all of them to make sure they had power, wondering if I was doing it correctly, waited overnightmore for the bugs to find the zappers,??? I even considered training the fruit flies and house flies as to how to find the zappers.I gave it another day, still no luck. Finally, thinking that as the product mentions the bright lighting that they are attracted to, I ran around my house and turned off every single light every LED glowing from a charging device, closed all the windows, until it was pitch Black inside, all except for 6 "bug zappers".My son did not appreciate this as the house was pitch-black and he wanted a night light on so I did move one of the zappers near to his room as a night light (it did function pretty well for that although the packaging says that these are not child-friendly) .I allowed the zappers 2 be on the ready for the zapping of all the mosquitoes and flies that would surely come as it was the only source of light anywhere in the house now.The next morning I got up excitedly out of bed. I ran to check the bug zappers or any signs of a successful hunt only to find, to my great dismay, that between all of the zappers, one had a single well toasted small fruit fly on board.Save your money!!! And your time!! Your much more likely to swat them out of this air then you are to have these zappers give you any help at all.BTW, if you're wondering why all the other reviews are five star and positive, it may be worth noting that in the packaging I received a very interesting Amazon gift card offer which stated if I logged in and gave a 5-star review they would send me a $10 gift card on Amazon dot-com.Is that even allowed??

Waste of money
this product is a waste of moneyfirst of all the product is very cheaply made. one of the six i got came with the front guard broken off which is not super surprising because it’s very thin, cheap plasticdon’t buy these for just mosquitos. mosquitos aren’t attracted to UV, they just fly towards lights. so these only work at night and you’re just hoping they happen to bump into them. in the weeks i’ve had them there are only 6 dead mosquitos between all 6 traps. i’m writing this with fresh bites and a mosquito flying right above me despite having 2 traps in the room i’m in.

Eh, so so.
I haven’t had many bugs in these. I don’t know if the grill is too wide for most of them to touch two points at a time in order to generate the lethal shock or if they simply aren’t attracted to them. My bug zapper bulbs that are of a different design but appear to rely on the same blue light to attract pests works effectively and kills way more than this.

Not as good as other options
I have 2 other bug control devices that work better than these. I plugged these in around my house and waited almost a week to see how they would perform. In a whole week, 1 had a single moth that wasn't dead and flew away when I opened the trap to clean it and the others were empty with no bugs inside and none laying around underneath either. The other devices I have include a lantern looking zapper that kills about 2-3 mosquitos a couple of moths and 2-3 dozen gnats every night in my bathroom. The other is the fan type that traps flying insects. I only open it to clean it once a month as any bugs that flew in recently are still alive and escape when the unit is opened. The zapper definitely gets the most insects. I will be buying a large lantern type next. Too bad, because I was hoping to get rid of bugs in multiple locations without having to have large units hanging around my house.

Plus and minus
Plus: After a week of use, neither my wife or I have been bitten by a mosquito inside our home. At least one of us used to bitten at least every three days or so. That is why we bought these to try. When you live near the water, they are everywhere.Minus: I haven't found a dead mosquito in one of the units yet. Either they are burned up completely or maybe they just distract the bugs till they die - it doesn't matter to me as long as we don't become their midnight snack. I have found a live mosquito in my garage after a night closed up with one unit in operation. Maybe it was a male and not attracted to the trap.
