Fixodent Denture Adhesive Powder Extra Hold 2.70 oz (Pack of 3)

I used gel adhesives from the tube early on with dentures. At first powder wasn't strong enough to hold securely. When I did use powder I used the variation enhanced with Scope. The longer I had dentures the more I cut back on the glue and came to realize I could get along with powder. After my reline my dentures fit even better and could be one occasionally for looks without adhesive hardly at all. But now for daily purposes I find Fixodent powder ideal (and could have gotten off the Scope variety sooner because I think you'll find you want tasteless powder for meals anyway. I certainly think it works better). So what I have now is this one and it works just great. It's easy to vary the quantity if you need a little more or less hold, and it cleans up much more easily than the sticky gels. PS there's no odor or aftertaste either.

Has a great seal for top dentures bottoms are not so great however adhesive on dentures rinse off very easy at night. Unlike paste adhesive there's no ozing while eating.

Works wonderfully

I’ve been using this product for about 4 years now, and I can tell you that it beats all other adhesives for dentures, especially upper dentures. I’ve lost weight in my face, which has affected my bite, but this adhesive keeps my teeth in place, which gives me so much more confidence. Sometimes, the adhesive gets gooey when you take your teeth out, buts it’s not a game changer. Cleaning is a breeze. Just run under hot water with mild soap. To store at night, put in warm to hot water. This will keep them from drying out.
