This product caught my attention when I walked into Costco on a hot summer day and they placed this near the entrance. I walked past it without giving it much purchase thought because I felt like it would be another energy drink gimmick that leaves you more thirsty with all the sugar and food coloring. I drink water on a regular basis and sometimes I don't feel like chugging down a gallon of water a day. Before I left the warehouse I went back and grabbed a bag of this lemon lime flavor Liquid IV to give it a try since it was on sale and it's been a game changer for me ever since. I recommend this product and actually felt like I was getting paid to sell this product to all my friends because of how well it works. The flavor is excellent, referring to lemon lime, and contains little amounts of sugar and has no food coloring that leaves your teeth and tongue looking red or blue. This product made me hydrated all the time and most importantly I don't have always have to carry my gallon jug of water everywhere. This is perfect for those working in heavy physical labor jobs, athletes and travelers who don't always have easy access to water.

Like I said in the title, I have POTS and one of the key lifestyle changes needed for most POTS patients is increased hydration and increased salt intake, like 300% of the recommended daily amount of salt. For years I've gotten by with gatorade and adding salt into what I'm eatting. I entered a POTS flare a month ago, super low blood pressure, lots of fainting... Just all around gnarly stuff. I switched from gatorade to this, the first time I was disgusted. Liquid IV is soooo salty compared to the sugar filled gatorade. The second day I had it again and it was like my body loved it. I can't stand the gatorade anymore. My first sip of this everyday is just a relieving feeling throughout my body. After trying everything, two weeks of this stuff and I'm starting to come out of this flare. My blood pressure is stabilizing and I haven't fainted in a week. This stuff really really works! And like I said, I love and crave the taste now. I think it's delicious!

Packaging is good, you can get a large pouch of 16 single serving packets. The tops tear off easy for on the go use and they have expiration dates on the back of each pouch which makes them perfect for tossing in your purse or gym bag and leaving them until you need them. They are a very fine colorless powered that dissolves almost instantly so there is no waiting time between mixing it and starting to drink it. Each one is equal to 3 bottles of water which is why I first started getting them. I was postpartum and needing desperately to keep hydrated and these helped so much. I continue to use them because of how they make me feel and how good they taste as well how easy it is to just grab and go on my day.

This product is truly a lifesaver. If you are feeling like a wilted plant, you drink one of these and you feel like you are energized to get in but not in a caffeine way just from having the fluids in your body. Make sure you read the ingredients because there is 500 mg of sodium so if you have to watch your sodium, you might not be able to use this product but honestly one day I felt, faint and tired. I drank one of these halfway through. I was already feeling better by the time I finished it I felt a lot better. It truly helps with dehydration.

So this stuff is a life saver after a long night or a hot day. Truly I feel better when I know I have it around just in case, additionally I use it religiously when I do need it too. It's my miracle salts that turn one cup of water into a delicious two or more so my body can get back to recovery. It's the real deal.
