This is a good quality product
This is a good quality product. It works well. We brought the laptop computer out to the garage and used the company video for assembly directions. It takes more than the hour to assemble. My wife and I did the job in an afternoon. About 3.5 hours We made our own track stop out of a metal "L" bracket so the door would not go off the track when it goes up. The springs will make it go past the end of the rail if you don't use some kind of stop. I think they supply a bolt for that purpose, but we didn't want the wheels to be damaged by hitting a bolt. Our dog, a 109 lb. female dog is used to going out the doggie door that is in the roll up garage door. She has not hit the new screen door. However, it would not be beyond her to scratch at the screen if she gets excited, so we have to be sure to roll the screen door is up, and roll down the normal garage door if we are not in the garage, so she has her doggie door to use. We have a normal house storm door installed in the kitchen to garage that also has a doggie door. She is able to come and go as she pleases, until we shut the inside solid kitchen door at night. An in ground dog fence keeps her in the 3 acres we have here. She never gets shocked because she's no slow leak, and stops when the collar warns her she is getting too close to the wire, BTY, the roll up screed door fits tight to the garage molding. The supplied magnet that is secured to the house door frame is amazingly strong. It keeps the 18 x 7 foot screen door secure very well. We put the whole house fan out in the garage ceiling and it pulls the hot North Carolina air out of the garage when we are using the screen door. That fan, installed in the garage pulls the air thru the house when the garage roll up door is down. Having the fan in the garage keeps the fan noise out of the living area. Spring and fall use and cooler summer evenings. WE do recommend the screed roll up door. No problems with it. Easy to build if you do it watching the video. My wife and I worked together installing the screens into the frame. She pulled it tight and I used a screen tool to install it in the groove. We had the tool. I don't think one came with the door. The screen door is not heavy due to the adequate springs supplied. Just be sure you have the springs adjusted evenly so the door rolls up evenly. Easy process. If you can watch a video as you build it, you can do it without difficulty.
