Cannot figure out out the wire is clamped down / held into the connector? Can you please advise?

You feed the power distribution with one pair of Anderson Power Poles which are connected by wire to your power source. In effect, you only get five free pair because the sixth connects to the power supply. I have had mine a few months now mounted on a DIN rail secured to my radio bench. I use it to feed all my 12 Vdc devices, e.g., automatic antenna tuner, swr meter, computer & monitor. that leave me two available for when I'm experimenting with something else. K4SC

It shows the power distribution block and 6 connectors, but is this for the block only, bo connectors?

It is exactly what is illustrated, I plugged in my source on one set and then added 5 other items into the rest of the block. Then mounted block for a stable tie-point.
