WenVen Men's Lightweight Military Cotton Jacket Casual Spring Lapel Work Coat

This was purchased to replace one that I had for 20 years. It was falling apart, good quality and dressy enough to wear with a button up shirt and slacks to work.

I like the overall look of casual wearwhen going on walks or shopping instores or malls. Perfect for use whenthere's light rain or lower temps in thelate Fall.The Fit for me is just right: I'm averagebuild so having some "space" insidewhen wearing a couple shirts is great.Snaps plus zipper on front of jacketis winner. Feel of material so muchbetter than nylon or polyester shells.I have a "good" feeling when I'm outand about wearing this jacket.

In brief, WOW. At this price, you are getting a really great jacket. The packaging was atrocious, the arms are a bit long, neither of these things should dissuade you.I was cautious about buying a no-name but as is the Amazon way, the price was in that sweet spot where I was willing to take a chance. I'm glad I did. This is a really decent jacket for the price...for the price.If you don't expect Armani quality, you'll find this jacket is well worth the price. I know others have said their jacket came torn or with bad seam stitching but mine did not. In fact, this thing is spot on as far as manufacturing goes.The fit is surprisingly great. The lines are actually quite modern and flattering. I'm a bigger guy and this jacket has a slimming effect that I am very happy with. The arms are a bit long but I usually have that issue with jackets.The packaging was a joke. It was balled up and stuffed in a plastic bag. Doesn't really bother me but be warned, you''ll want to hang this thing in the bathroom during a hot shower or toss this in the dryer with a damp rag to dewrinkle before you wear.As I stated above, you are getting A LOT for your money here. The jacket is sturdy, thick (but not too thick), and made with materials that should withstand moderate abuse. It's a jacket that can be used in casual or professional settings. I could also see this as a foreman's jacket who doesn't get into the nitty gritty but may take the occasional hammer swing or two, but who also needs to look semi-professional throughout the day.Bottom line, if you're thinking about buying this jacket, do it. At this price you won't be disappointed. If you are, you can always return it....and I apologize.

Were it not for my large mid section, I would have loved this coat. Liked the length in the arms, but this is not a big man's coat unless you're very athletic in build. I'm a 3XL with a longer torso, and felt no need to go long after trying on, sleeve length IS generous.

This was a cool canvas coat - nice looking! Fit nice at the waist, BUT was really tight at the chest! I’m 5,7”, 165lbs, with a 42” at chest… the chart said medium would be great for up to 42” at chest… not so much. Didn’t try a large as my arms are short/ like my torso. Nice coat overall, but if you workout , be weary of how it’ll fit up top.

Simple and sturdy. The zipper, snaps, and pockets are exactly right. No frills, no extras. Just a plain, washable, work jacket.

I’m 6’1” 188lbs with athletic build and this fits me perfectly with a little room for layering. Very comfortable too. Sleeve length and waist is spot on - just what I was looking for.

The jacket is nearly perfect. It is a great, light weight, simple jacket. Perfect for layering up on colder days, or as a simple shell, when its just a little cool. The only drawback is the fit across the shoulder. If I reach forward, the sleeves cut into my shoulders

I’m 5’9” 190 with broad shoulders and it fits perfectly. Suited for autumn and spring weather. Solid quality for the price.

I ordered one and used the sizing Amazon recommended by my other purchases. It was too small. The second one came and it fits well. The snaps located on each side at the bottom of the coat always pop undone, but that is not critical. I wear it with an undercoat, and it has been suitable this season here in Saskatchewan Canada; though, it has been unseasonably warm.

Nice fit and is exactly what I was looking for.

Not overly heavy. Fits well. Could use a couple more pockets. Not a deal breaker though.

Jacket seems decent for the price. I got a large, I'm about 5'11" and 190 lbs. I find the jacket a bit too big, but I was afraid a medium would be too small. Grey jacket looks like a faded black, hard to tell by product description. Overall I like it, but I wish it was slightly smaller.
