These are nice and heavy duty and rubber backed so they don’t require anything extra to get them to stick. They stay put well. I got these because I have a dog with mobility issues and stairs are difficult for him. These work great to give him traction on the front and back porch stairs.

I am thrilled with these Aucuda stair treads! Our sweet dog would lose traction on our wooden deck stairs going up and coming down, to the point she became reluctant to go outside. I tried spraying two coats of a transparent grit on each step, but the grit spray didn’t help at all. I saw these Aucuda treads on Amazon and read the reviews, and I saw several people mentioned that these treads prevented their dogs from slipping. I bought one set just to see if they were heavy enough to stay put in the wind, and to see if they prevented my dog from slipping off the steps. These treads DO stay in place, and they DO prevent my dog from slipping! Today I’m buying my fourth set to finish covering all of the deck steps! My only gripe is that I wish Aucuda offered them in sets of 6 or 8, not just 4 to a pack. Minor nit to pick. I love these treads!

These step treads are very nice and durable. However, we did think that it would be more safe to screw them down to our wooden steps. I will update my review at a later date.

I needed something for my back steps as I had to have my 18 year old stoop replaced. I decided to go with composite decking because I was tired of staining the wood ones. I was not aware of how hot composite decking gets, nor how slippery it could be. When these treads arrived they are nice and thick, but not too thick, and appear as if they will hold up very well outside. I did have to purchase double sided carpet tape because they did slide around on the composite. I kind of expected that but don't think sliding would be an issue on wood. I have eight steps going up to our back door. My husband uses a cane. I have been worried about him slipping on them especially when it has rained. I ordered these and they are very nice looking and heavier than I expected. I did use small black deck nails in each corner of the mat to make sure they didn’t shift and you don’t notice them at all. They are working great and look very nice. I feel it was a great buy and good quality mat. Highly recommend.

They are helpful in giving my dgs a little more grip on the deck steps, but the surface is a bit smooth

I bought these after our new Trex deck was done in November 2023, so almost 7 months ago. We are in the Midwest & get VERY strong, windy storms. After last nights bad storm, it's safe to say that I highly recommend these stair rugs! My furniture, grill, etc. blew all over the place (pic of that for reference). I had just ONE of the rugs in the yard, all the rest were right where they should be! This is the very first time any of them have blown at all! These have continued to surprise me in how much they stay put. And they look great! 100% I would buy these again!

These treads are good quality. They did not appear to have any adhesive, but my husband was able to screw them into our wooden steps. We are pleased, and looking forward to seeing how they work when it snows.

Ok, let's be honest, They are expensive, I have only purchased once so far because of the price. HOWEVER, we had purchased cheaper ones that do not last, slip all over the place and end up looking bad. These look nice, actually last, and more important our elderly dogs looks so much more confident. They are not too thin but not too thick so the dog feels comfortable. Good job!
