I was so happy that VR was charging my batery very good, after 5 days my motorcycle stalls on higway and my batery was dead,push my motorcycle like 1 mile to the shop again and they told me the same VR was bad so order another one for $80 since then my motorcycle is running lime a champ, seller gave me a refund thanks god,

Had an issue with this regulator...Tested regulator with my multimeter upon arrival, all 3 legs were good. Once i had it hooked up to my 1999 sv650 it worked well, battery was maintaining 13.1VDC for 20 mins idling. THE ISSUE was in the connection where the hot and neutral wires are (red and green). The green is in the bottom slot correctly. HOWEVER the red connection is in the wrong side. I had to fight for about 5 minutes to remove the red connection from the wrong side. Placing it in the correct side of the plug was easy. Like I said before, once it was plugged in correctly it worked well and did its job transforming AC power from the stator to DC power to recharge the battery.

IT lasted 37 days and blew up
