Speak Easies Cell Membrane Board Kit

These board models are great for teaching cell membrane structure and ate also useful for discussing transport across a membrane. The magnets are strong and sturdy; they can be classified as durable goods rather than supplies for budgeting purposes. They are large enough to be easily seen in the back row of a standard-sized classroom but might be a little small for a lecture hall. My teachers like them so much that some have ordered two sets to have an extra-long membrane to show all of the pumps and ion channels working together (for chemiosmosis, for example). There are also enough water molecules to show hydration shells and other "properties of water" concepts. We love these things! If there is one drawback, it would be that they need to be carefully cut out.
