This is a great book to force a new welder to just get out into the shop and fabricate projects. It can be used as a textbook in a classroom as well. The projects are tailored for the various kinds of welding techniques, arc, MIG, etc, however, all the project may be completed with any technique you chose like only MIG for all the projects.

Another tech ed teacher showed me his copy, so I bought this immediately, knowing what I'd be getting. There are so many projects in here with detailed step-by step instructions and accurate measurements... close-up photos of the work as it proceeds. Whether you are working alone, or facilitating a welding class, get this book!
