I got the red 6ft (1.8m) long cord cable, price seems worth it. Had no issue so far with them, they charge my Corsair Virtuoso XT Headset with no problem during use. Cable seems quite tough, and glad that it is such. The re-enforcement of the connection points to the actual plug housing with the bonded rubber shrouds down the cord is a welcome thing, as too many cables that are designed for Headsets and such are flimsier and breakdown too easily from normal use right at the point where the housing meets the cable. Or do like Corsair with no 1st party replacement cables ever for many months on their own website for multiple headset models that all use same basic Corsair branded USB-A to USB-C type of cable. The cable reached end of life where they did the ooze and unbending thing right at the housing. Had to hunt for this type of cable as all the other manufacturers also seem to be shoddy with connection point between the cables and the housings to replace shortsighted product development.

These are the real deal. They're super high quality and durable, nice and thick so they will never come unplugged accidentally from whatever you're using them with, and they can carry video, audio and power simultaneously, great for something like an external monitor. They're also truly USB 3.0 - when I bought a $100 Samsung SSD, I was disappointed at its write speeds with the included cable, but didn't realize cheap Samsung had included a shoddy USB 2.0 cable. The attached photo is of the transfer speed of a random 2gb file to my SSD using this Fasgear cable. I love it! I love these cables and recommend them to everyone whenever I can. I've also used the heck out of mine for 7 months now and no issues.

Is what it says it is. Could be slightly more supple and flexible. The male end won't penetrate completely into the all the female Type-C sockets I tried which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just makes me wonder if having a tighter fit up against the faces of the socket and plug would be more secure and resistant to snapping off or flexing. Other than that the connector ends feel sturdy and durable. Handling this cable gives the impression it was made to be better than expected, perform better than expected and last longer than expected. Data transmission and power certification confirmed, this baby works.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This Fasgear USB-C to USB-C cable is 6' long, thick and solid - should last a lifetime. I use it when I travel - I have a high power fast charge power bank that can needs a higher quality cable to effectively provide juice to my Surface laptop. This cable feels like it will not wear and break at the connector like so many other cables have done. As long as you don't abuse it by repeatedly bending it or running over it with a tank it should give you years of good use.

Fasgear USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type USB-C To USB-C Connectors have so far worked awesome for start i use them for... I personally use these cables as a communication gateway between my Galaxy S9 phone & PC as-is transferring data back and fourth. I also use it between my phone and PC via Phone-to-PC DEX Connection where your phone will be imaged and broadcast on your PC in a window and you can use your phone normally by clicking on your phone and apps etc in the Dex program... I've had other cables I've tried using for this feature and so far this is the only brand that has zero issues with the communication using Dex from PC to Phone. It also has the fastest data transfer speeds vs other cables I've tried when backing up my phone data onto my PC using USB-C 3.1 Gen2 (Also named USB 3.2 I believe?) While it also has the convenience of recharging my phone at the same time I do not and did not get this cable as a phone charging cable only... This is merely used as a data cable between my phone and my PC (While I have dedicated cables just for recharging my phone separately that I use just for that reason and not as a data cable) This is due to my past issues with cables that acted as both data and AC Outlet type recharging in 1 cable that always broke months later for some reason by either not connecting at high speeds to Transfer data or not able to fast charge anymore? Since keeping cables separate these for charging and another brand for AC Outlet recharging the cables have all worked flawlessly without any issues! I wanted to use a graphics tablet so needed a quality cable that was flexible, strong, and able to work at over 3m in length. Most cables were confident for up to 2 metres but this did the job at 3m and then I used another 50cm Fasgear to get that last 50cm I needed. So at 3.5m it was flawless and instead of 3 cables to run my graphics tablet I only need this single USB C. Worth every dollar.
