So here is a comparison with my current G4 @ 33mm vs these supposedly at 35mm more like 37/38mm like everyone else. Just about fit in my under cupboard lights but I cannot replace the cover therefore these are going back :-(Also worth noting whilst they are 10mm wide and compare with a standard halogen bulb they are round so are 10mm diameter and therefore again make a tight squeeze in some spaces.Great colour / brightness though :-)

Initially I panicked when these arrived as the base of the bulbs are not the normal flat profile of glass originals (they are pretty much the same profile as the bulb area all the way down to the pins), but they fitted fine in my kitchen unit lamps. The are also made of a clear rubbery substance/ silicone? which is a bit odd.On switching on it was then immediately apparent that they were far dimmer, not unusable, than the Halogen originals. We will get used to it but the description is not accurate.I note Amazon have longevity as a rating - it's far too early to be filling this in and if they last as long as they say then these reviews will be well past their sell by date by then!

Unfortunately this product did not work for us. We only tried one and returned the product. Such a shame as it looked and felt the same as our existing bulbs. If it had worked in our light fittings we would have been regular buyers as the price was fantastic.

I have purchased these bulbs as they should be cheaper to run and last longer than the halogen bulbs. These are a little longer than the old halogen ones but still just about fit in the cooker hood light sockets. I have been getting through so many halogen bulbs as they blow every couple of weeks! So I’m hoping these LED ones will last longer and cost less in the long run.Nice colour, not bright light like some LED bulbs but a softer, warmer light.

A+ power. Only uses 2 watts per bulb which is equivalent to 20 watts with halogen.It is nice and small. Doesn't feel fragile like glass. It feels like silicon around it which makes it durable. Eventhough it is only 2 watts, it is still very bright. It lights my dining well. This will save you some bills on the electricity without compromising the brightness. And LED lasts for years and years.This is nice and small which suited well in my ceiling light.Easy to install. Just remember to turn off the main switch before changing the bulb.No flickering! No compromises! Just bright light with little power.

These are fine but not as bright as I expected. They are longer than the bulbs I was replacing so be careful because they might not fit into your spotlight. You might be better getting the older style.

I installed 2 of the lights into ceiling spotlights , I have 4 in total..The remaining 2 were standard halogen.All was well for 3/4 mins then all the lights started to flash.The seller said to use 1-2 halogen lights if flashing does occur.It did not work for me so returning to Amazon for a refund.Amazon refund accepted . superb customer service from them once more

Bought for a extractor hood lights, replaced one which had blown all good.Replaced 2nd G4, which was working, and there is a single flash and the both are dark.Swap one for the halogen and it both stay lit....Wouldn't recommend.
