Got these paints to overhaul some garden gnomes and ornaments. Paint did not disappoint. Goes on extremely well and dries very fast. What a transformation it has done to my garden. It remains to be seen if the paint lasts more than just this year but I'm very happy with the outcome.

I bought these to freshen up a weather-beaten resin garden gnome. First I sponged him down with soapy water, then once fully dry I cleaned him again with alcohol and cotton wool. After removing them from the packaging I stood the pots in the upturned ‘lid’, which has grooves in it making them a bit more stable. I also only opened one at a time to avoid spillage and to prevent them from drying out. Also, as my title says, a little goes a long way - don’t be too troubled by their size. (My gnome is just under 30cm tall and there is at least half of the red left.) You do only get one acrylic brush with the kit, but I preferred to use my own natural brush for more precise application. The paint easily washes out of the bristles when wet so you can switch between colours, but once dry it promises to be weather-proof.Although it won’t win any prizes, I am really happy with my finished gnome.

This a good range of colours, and are easy to apply. I am repainting garden ornaments, and needed small quantities of at least a dozen colours. so this set meets my needs plus. they are easy to apply, once I got the lids open. I did find these a little tricky, but this is actually a good point as they do not pop open once resealed after use, leaving some to use later. ( I have had problems in the past with other types of paint with lids coming loose and the paint drying out ). I don't yet know how weather proof these paints are, hopefully they will last at least a couple of years as they are for outdoor use.

Super quick delivery. Just as ordered and my only gripe is that ay point of order I could not choose colours/numbers that I need. But these will be useful.

I bought these paints to renovate a garden ornament of an otter as the original paint had almost gone. I had never used acrylic paints before, so using them, at first, was a bit hit and miss. However, after only two coats of paint I managed to achieve exactly the finish I wanted, mixing colours as required. Really delighted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the paints for this type of work, although time will tell how weather-proof the paint is.
