U are limited to what is effective on this pad but as a non expert I suggest the first page be a tester for what u would like to use upon it

Reasonable value, but not as expected.
I love the Chiltern Wove A5 pad. The paper is smooth, and there are 80 sheets. I thought this might be the same, but it isn't. The paper is the same thickness (135gsm), but it's noticeably rougher. I use very fine black fineliners, the nibs of which are weakened by rougher textures. I can still use this with coloured pencils, but that isn't what I wanted it for.Also, I was misled by two responders to my query about the number of leaves. The description at the top of the page says 60 leaves, but the photo of the front cover suggested 60 pages. I wanted to know how many leaves and was told definitely 60. It's actually 30 leaves (60 pages). It's still reasonable value, but not what I was expecting or hoping for.
