I was thinking I’d have to buy a new sofa as the stitches on my old leather one were starting to come apart at the seams. Someone suggested I try loose covers so I looked on Amazon and found this. Nice colours and a good price so I thought it worth a try at £40. I’m absolutely thrilled. Lovely soft stretchy fabric and a good fit. Only problem was it started to ride up at the front and it wouldn’t stay tucked in at the back of the seating. I got some pipe lagging and pushed it down the back and at the arms so the cover stayed in place. Secondly, the cover kept riding up at the front. So a friend who is a dab hand with a sewing machine stitched Velcro Sew and Stick along the front and back of the cover. We then stuck pieces of the Velcro along the bottom of the sofa front and back and the problem was solved. As you’ll see from the pic, no riding up. I’m absolutely thrilled with this cover. A new sofa for £40 instead of £1500 or so! Highly recommend

Fitting instructions provided were essentially useless, but it's relatively easy to work out where the arms are and use those as your starting point. Quality of fabric was better than I was expecting for the price and it was nice and soft (but I don't know how long that would last). Says hand wash only, which seems ludicrous when the whole point of the cover is that it's easy to take off and wash. But a dog I was looking after threw up on it on air the 3rd day I had it on, and I popped it in the machine on the hand wash setting, then tumble dried it and it seems unharmed by the experience! And it protected my actual sofa well - which I was very grateful for! Lovely teal colour. I would recommend this product - it's not like having your sofas recovered or proper fitted covers, but at £30-ish v. the £1000-ish I was quoted for recovering my sofa, it's definitely value for money and I can see it being useful in a variety of circumstances (eg rented property where you just want to make the place a little more your own, if you have dogs in the house where you want to protect the sofas at least somewhat - will be useful against hair but will have limits if you have a very wet dog, obviously! - or if your sofa is looking a bit the worse for wear but you are not ready to get a new one yet) In my case, I was thinking about having my sofas recovered and wasn't sure if it would be worth it/ what colour to go for, this has helped me make up my mind and has saved me a lot of money! Having said all that, I don't know how well it would stand up to repeated heavy use - possibly quite well, possibly not. But in my case, even if I had to replace every year, it would still be worth it as it's so much cheaper than the alternatives! Can even see me buying ones in different colours just to change up the room every now and then.

This cover fits our sofa perfectly and is durable enough to protect it from pets and children, exactly as intended.

Colour and size are good, and matches with description but a hole in it. Have been looking for the cover quite a long time so just using it.

Great quality and easy to fit

I bought the three seater cover in light grey and it's perfect. My cat had been scratching the brown leather sofa so I bought this to cover it as it was looking a bit worn This is perfect as it looks like a new sofa. Also, it's machine washable and looks as good as new. Very pleased and has saved me buying a new sofa. Will be ordering 2 more for single seaters. Very good quality and price.

Moved in to a new flat, with faux leather sofas. Have a cat. Obviously not a great combo. Looked around for throws and slipcovers to protect the furniture.This boasts "Perfect whole protection against stains, wear, pet scratch, pet hair for your sofa, settee, armchair".Unfortunately, it offers NO PROTECTION against pet scratches. My cat found it actually MORE fun to scratch and from two accidental scuffs over the course of 1 day of use I have FOURTEEN new scratches on the sofa. Never returned a product faster, and now I have a sofa that is in much worse shape than it was this morning.Not advised for pet owners at all, do not make the mistake I made. Also, avoid if you have a sofa with any non-standard armrests, the hems are designed to suit a very plain cut shape.

I bought these to try and prolong buying a new sofa and chair, mine is covered in stains from a toddler. I'm happy with the look of them, easy to put on. Only thing I would say is they're more a dark gray than a light grey. There's a slight overflap at the back of my chair but it's not too noticeable (see photo). The covers do move so I'm constantly folding them into the sides. Overall good value for money and it's bought my extra time before having to buy a new sofa.
