Great for guy ropes and rigging/hanging Halloween/Christmas props!
Works great as guy ropes for tall objects, and for hanging/rigging Halloween props! Low stretch, high strength, light weight. Holds knots well. Hard to see against a dark sky. Vastly superior to paracord in these applications!

Better than steel cable for my purpose.
I put this product to use as guy ropes for an antenna project that had been long in the planning stages. Its fresh-cut ends seal easily with a butane lighter (do this out of the wind however) and it ties easily and cinches tight when making temporary or permanent knots. I have been particularly pleased at how well it works when used for making taught line hitch knots for initial adjustments. The knots hold well and are easy to untie when the time arrives to install the permanent rope clamps. Clothesline, sisal, and marine grade twisted polyester all seem to have more problems with either making a decent initial knot or getting it undone when the time comes. I have not tried super-pricey climbing rope, but this stuff is only holding up 16 and 30 foot masts and not people. Itโs inexpensive enough that I can use as many levels as required for redundancy and not break the bank, masts, or guy ropes. It is a real โGoldilocksโ product that exactly meets my needs. YMMV. When I need more I will buy this stuff again.

Highly recommended with great value for the money.
Have been using this for close to a year now to suspend OCF and 1/2 wave dipoles between two rows of 75 foot tall trees. Has survived several high wind events. Even had a tree branch come down on one of the lines and it didn't break. Great value for the money.

Guy Wire
Worked great as guy wires for my amateur radio antenna. Sixty mph winds twice and the antenna is still up there.

It should be strong enough & last
Seems like it should be good long lasting rope to support a dipole antenna in the tree.

Fine quality line for a multitude of uses. Fairly priced.
A good value for this type of line. I personally use this line to hold up ham radio antennas but it could have many uses. The price was exceptional and the quality was just fine for my intended purpose. I really put it to a test with my 4 wheeler trying to break off a limb in a tree and was amazed at how much pressure I could put on the line and it not break. Thanks for some good rope!!!

Hydrophobic, durable, strong.
I used this to suspend an amateur radio HF dipole antenna in thick forest. Probably could have used a thinner version but this size worked well. I recommend this product.

Bought based on reviews
I purchased this in Feb 2023 based on the reviews. Dacron rope is normally supplied to hang ham radio antennas and the black color rope will generally be more resistive to UV than other colors. I have not used this yet as it is winter but expect that it will last for years outdoors once installed. Time will tell. One thing to note, the 500 foot spool was much lighter in weight than expected.
