We love this artist and were given the condensed version of this CD a few years ago. I wanted to have the one with more cuts on it so decided to purchase this one. We take these CD's on our car trips and always listen to them more than our others that we take. We love the duets with all the other artists - we also have a couple of Zucherro solo CD's and I love them almost as much.Anybody who likes funky, a little bit different from the norm rock and roll or various artists might love this CD. I have bought it and given it as a gift to friends as well and they like it too.Zuc has such an array of singing style and his voice blends so well with popular American and other artists. I especially enjoy his raspy voice in some songs and his clear voice in others. He's a hit in this family!!!

I'd never heard of Zucchero until we were in Milan recently and happened upon a concert he was giving at Piazza del Duomo. We now have four of his cds and our collection is growing fast. Zucchero's sense of rhythm, his amazing voice, talented musicians, his fun and entertainingly clever mix of Italian and English (among other languages) lyrics are captivating. You don't have to understand Italian to appreciate it; in some ways the mystery adds to the fun. In this cd he performs so well with so many other talented people, almost every song is truly enjoyable. The Miles Davis song is gorgeous, the duet with Pavarotti is extremely moving, there are so many great mixes in here; even though it is my least favorite song on the cd, I even find it very amusing to hear the duet with Tom Jones, a far cry from his original style. There are also several romantic duets, exquisite.

fell in love with Zucchero's "Hey Man" (on "Pavarotti & Friends for Guatemala and Kosovo" cd) and was looking for more of his songs - but also for a longer version of "Hey Man", which I still have not found!

Not much to say. Just that a random pick up from Los Angeles public library of this album has led me to an obsessive purchasing/procuring of many Zucchero CDs. Great music, great combination. This CD introduced me to a variety of singers (Cheb Mami, Randy Crowford, John Lee Hooker ...). This CD also made me read about its contributors and to learn quite a few very interesting facts (for example, I have read that Brian May, as an astrophysicist, had a paper published in Nature, and that he had, in principle, fulfilled all the requirements to be qualified for a PhD in physics, or, for that matter, that Andrea Bacceli is blind and has a PhD in law) and to exclaim at the broad range of singers Zucchero has sung with.Excellent album, a must have.

Probably one of the best album's I've bought yet. I have never heard a multi artist album collection of this caliber from start to end. (Hey Man / B.B. King / zucchero) how long I have been waiting to get this on CD. I first heard it sometime back on a Pavarotti DVD. Very surprised to hear Marcy Grey bring on with the big name's good on her. Every song on this album goes deep and finds the roots of life. You want to cut yourself away from the rest of the world then listen to this on surround sound and be at piece with your self. To end off, if you ever want to make a unforgettable impression on your partner have a candle light dinner and whip this CD on. Say no more.

After my husband died in August 1998, I found andrea bocelli, and he helped me in my grief.Then in later years, ZUCCHERO sang a song with Andrea on his album, I loved him, but not the albumHe had out.I'm so grateful right now. Listened to just a few cuts and I'm blown away. He's the top of the line.And sometimes sings like joe cocker. I love Joe cocker! It's been long while. But, I've been knownTo run an CD "Through the ground." I can't wait!!!!!!!!! Everyone enjoy!!!!!
