BlackTip Jetsports Sheet Goods Purple Wishbone traction mat/Sea-Doo Carpet/Pads/Mat/Footwell

Just got done installing this on my boat. I really struggled thinking how to install it. I made a template and soon realized it was more trouble than it was worth. I just measured the length of the sheet needed to cover the boat, cut it, and started from there. The lines on the foam made my straight cuts with a razor pretty easy.Hint: I sanded the surface first, sprayed of any grime/oil, warm soapy water with a brush, rinse with hose again. Let it air dry. Install it on a warm day to allow the boat deck to heat up to have the adhesive on the foam stick better.

This is okay as far as traction control but is crazy ANNOYING in that it bleeds black all over and we track the black dye on the upholstery climbing back in the boat! I've read that my particular lot could be defective and is breaking down under UV conditions. The boat is stored in a closed garage except for when in use. We've resorted to keeping a carwash extension brush on board and constantly scrubbing the mat down as to limit interior staining.I'm tired of dealing with this. It's 3 seasons later and we're pulling it off. The black dye is staining everything. Spend the extra and buy the hydroturf.

It’s an awesome product. I’m gonna remove all my carpet on my 2005 Ranger Z21DC Bass Boat and use this awesome stuff. Repels water, oils, stains, and it’s comfortable......No More WET knees for me! Prep work is the Key, I found that if you use GOOF OFF and a putty knife all the adhesive or glue will come right up. Have allot of clean rags and wear rubber gloves. I recommend this to everyone

Received my order today.Just installed this in my aluminum bass boat.Very easy to handle, cut, and install.The adhesive is VERY STICKY. If you put it down it's stuck, if you peel it back up the adhesive stays down.Hoping for a LONG life out of this product.At this point I highly recommend it. Much cheaper than Hydroturf, nice color options and comes with adhesive already applied.

Update , after almost a year of use and 100's of fish and crabs thrown all over it , it still looks great , cleaning tip a little TSP works wonders on itI installed the white camo on my older Trophy fishing boat , super easy to install ,so far after 5 tripsI could not be more pleased with the product , i have slung many of different fish on to it , the blood and slime wash right off if you do not let it dry , my legs are not as sore after a 12 plus hour day on SF bay and the traction is great ,

Decided to try this stuff out over my usual orders of hydro turf. Stuff shipped and got delivered real quick for not being a prime order. Looks like it ships out of Florida. It's alot firmer than hydro turf, but not super hard. Cuts real easy for trim measurements with a razor knife. It comes with the peel and stick backing too which was a suprise. Not sure of how well it will stay stuck with it but will update if any issues come up in the future.

Update: all the same of review BUT does not stick well and adhesive fails within months. I did prep surface before install and still have poor resultsIt sticks well, looks good, and has the right price but the sun and salt water dissolve it. When you spray it down you can see tons of black dust just washing off it. I have only had for 1 month so after a year will be the true test.

This past weekend i replaced the carpet on my small fishing boat with the black tip jetsports white camo foam.It was easy to install and the self adhesive was good, I seems to be better with additional spray adhesive sprayed onto the surface were the foam is being applied, It looks really nice and feels really good on the feet. I haven't used it yet in the water but i hope it holds up.Thank you
