Excellent value so easy to make, perfect for chowders, making creamed soup like cream of mushroom, I've also used it to make peppered country gravy so far everything I've made taste good

Gluten free cream soup base
I was looking for a gluten-free cream soup replacement. I didn't find "gluten-free" on the package but the ingredient list is gluten-free. If I had celiac disease, I would call the manufacturer. I am very gluten intolerant. However, this hasn't been a problem for me. This works well. It's creamy and takes on other flavors easily. I can be made with chicken stock and diced chicken for cream of chicken soup. Some pureed celery added into the water volume makes cream of celery soup. Sautee fresh mushrooms for cream of mushroom. I've used it plain as a cream base for salmon and added it to sauteed hamburger and onions for hamburger gravy. It also makes good sausage gravy and with romano or parmesan cheese, it can become a cream sauce for pasta. Spice all the above with salt and pepper etc. as desired to fit your individual taste. Downside-it's geared for restaurant use and scaling portions for normal home cooking is a bit of a challenge. I also find the price a bit daunting as I'm on a very tight budget. The packet makes 1 gallon of soup.

Durability
I currently work at a restaurant and we use this product. It thickens the suits and makes it very creamy. It’s hard to find this product here in the market.

Superior Product
Legout cream soup bases are the best product available.I was in the restaurant business for 40 years and I always used Legout cream base plus many other flavors and their product is by far superior than the other brands.

Great Product
Worked out really good as a base for the seafood bisque that my wife makes. We finally found the ingredient that became a mystery for us to locate when we needed it.
