This seemed like a great idea but failed in every practical way. The mat was folded, when taken out it had these fold marks in that's impossible to lay it out flat without wrinkles. When we tried a 1000 pieces puzzle on it, we can't flatten out the gaps. Also given the pieces are not stably connected, not sure how putting on the roll will not destroy the puzzle. This is a failed product.

The “mat” is a piece of felt...poorly cut I might add. And you roll it up with what looks like a piece of pool noodle. I could have made this out of material I had at home had I know what was in the package. Although it’s pretty self explanatory, it doesn’t come with any directions. Don’t waste your money.

Just opened my puzzle mat! So glad I ordered it myself because no instructions came with it. I did gift one of these to a friend and I'll probably have to explain the instructions even though they're simple if you never had one it's hard to make heads and tails on how to put it together I had to refer back to Amazon and the ad that shows you have to put it together. It would have been nice if the constructions were included even if they're super basic. I have not used it for my puzzles yet so I can really say how well it works but it's pretty much just a felt sheet with noodles and Velcro. Looks like it can do the job I also like that it comes to carrying case.

Although at first the felt was wrinkly it settled out nicely. The felt keeps the pieces from sliding around to easy. I had no problem using the mat. It is basically a foam roller, felt pad, some Velcro straps and a bag. Sounds simple and that is the best part. Easy to use and worked like a charm.

I gave this as a gift since my mom likes working on puzzles, but doesn’t want one on her table indefinitely. I think we’ve all had those puzzles that take longer to come together than we’d like! I included this in a gift with 2 nice jigsaw puzzles, and she says it works perfect.

Works wonderfully to roll up a puzzle in progress. Doesn’t work as well with pieces along the edge as they tend to fall out, but there’s straps to tie it. Only complaint is they gave two pool noodles with a short PVC element to connect them but the diameter of the PVC is smaller than the diameter of the hole in the noodle, so it just slips through. Even without that it still works for what it is.

"I love to do puzzles and I like how I can transport puzzles." (my 15 year old daughter) It was a gift.

I bought this in the fall but didn't have the chance to use it until this week. doesn't work at all and is extremely hard to do a puzzle on. all the pieces stick to the felt and make is very hard to work on. not a good surface for a puzzle. halfway into the puzzle I had to try and move it off onto a solid surface. which of course undid a lot of the work. they should use a different flexible material other than felt. if I could get a hold of the seller I would request a return.
