Like others here, I did not realize that there was some assembly required, but it took all of a minute. I got all of the letters and it looked great (was exactly the size I thought it would be -- perfect for hanging over double doors). So, for me, not a problem!The pictures here did leave some questions for me -- the letters are all black -- in some pics, it looked as though the word boy was in blue lettering. It's not.

It was pretty cute at the baby shower. Putting it together was tedious. The end of the string thingy fell off right away and the string immediately started fraying, which made it really hard to string it after that.

Arrived a week after the baby shower! Was expected to arrive the day before and it took another week, not worth returning so just going to save it for another friends baby shower

Doesn't come pre-assembled, and I feel this should be disclosed, or at the very least come with a thread that is crimped at the ends so it isn't an enormous hassle to get put together.

Bought for a shower I was throwing for a friend. Didn't realize that I had to string the letters on one by one, and since I am pretty lazy that did scare me at first. I ended up having my niece string all the letters on and she did it pretty quick with no fuss. Great price, would buy again!

I guess I should've read the description and reviews more closely but I didn't realize I had to string it together myself. Nothing special honestly, it looked cute as a final product but would not recommend or buy again. The string that came with mine had an imperfection or bump so getting the cards through took way too long.

This would have been nice but there was no string included so when I pulled this out to hang up, it was just the cards (letters) and nothing to hang it up with. So I was not able to use this for the baby shower I had as I did not know until the last minute that string was not included.

I ordered a IT IS A BOY, brought it to the shower, started to string it together and it said IT IS A GIRL. I checked the packaging and it said BOY. Well to tell you not to buy it would be an understatement. I've tried to get a refund even would send it back but have not heard a word on it. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.
