I am the principal of a school and was having problems keeping track of everything in one calendar. The regular, one-person calendars were not enough to keep track of my to-do list, tasks delighted to others with deadlines, events, etc. This calendar is perfect for keeping track of it all in one place. I use the two facing pages and draw my monthly calendar. It's great because I can draw any month of any year, and only the months I need for the length of my contract. The number of pages is exactly what I need for this purpose! Then, I use one full page as a day. The first column is for planning my day for my observations, duty, meetings, office time, appointments, etc. The second column is for the events or important happenings that do not require my presence but I may want to pop my head in to shake hands or simply be visible (such as student club meetings, parent workshops, committee meetings). For the third and fourth columns, I draw a horizontal line in the middle to make four quadrants, each representing the four from Covey (important, urgent; not important, urgent...). I list to-do items for the day or couple of days facing each other. Those I need to do, I highlight with the color representing me. Items I delegate are highlighted by the color assigned to that individual, or if the person doesn't have a color because they are not usually delegated items, I write their names. Sounds complicated, but the tedious work is just at front when drawing monthly calendars and writing daily dates on top of the pages. I do this on the plane when I'm going on vacation in between school years so I don't waste time. On the way there, I set up my calendar for the year. On the way back I plug in district dates, testing dates, and start making decisions for recurrent meetings and important events. Again, this calendar is absolutely perfect and necessary for me!

Great planner whether you have ultisols stylists that need booking or you can use it as I do, which is I fill out my whole week with appointments. Durable and doesn't fall apart easily. I recommend this to any one who books clients and prefers to write it down.
