Vega Helmets X390 Retro Open Face Motorcycle Helmet w/Sunshield Unisex-Adult powersports

El casco es espectacular en su apariencia, muy buenos acabados, lo único es que es un poco pesado. 2.5 kilos. Sin embargo es una buena compra.

I’ve used Vega brand helmets before and knew what size to get when ordering. This was my first try at a 3/4 style helmet.I like the paint scheme on this helmet. It is a cool design and is done with good quality and a matte vs gloss finish. Looks great. The chin strap is an easy style to hook and unhook even if you had gloves on which is cool.The negatives. When wearing this helmet I feel like there’s padding missing from the ear area. This is probably to allow for a Bluetooth device or something. This is subjective in terms of grading comfort so I can’t count it against the helmet too much as it’s probably just me.The flip down visor doesn’t go low enough to be useful. Basically the bottom edge of the visor is right in my line of vision. I have a big forehead though so your results may very. I’d be wearing glasses or goggles underneath anyway so the visor can just stay up and not get used.The snap on brim feels cheap in the hand. Obviously just a style piece so doesn’t need to be made heavy duty. I do wish there were additional snaps on the sides so a bubble shield could be attached with more than just three snaps at the top.Overall I plan to return this helmet but only because I think the 3/4 style isn’t for me. I don’t like the visor being in my line or vision or the inability to put on a bubble shield with good security. I will say however that if you prefer a 3/4 helmet style there really isn’t a reason that you shouldn’t buy this one. I’m gonna continue using a half helmet style (also Vega brand though)

While this helmet does create a slight Mushroom Head effect, compared to a Bell Custom 500, the internal shield does have to go somewhere when retracted. The quick release buckle is nice, and having two other helmets with this feature, I have had no issues with their ability to keep the helmet stable and safe. The only two complaints are the visor is flat black, not gloss like the helmet. And the non removeable reflective "V" over the DOT sticker at the rear, that was not shown in the sellers photos.

Wore this helmet on 4,000 mile motorcycle trip. Good visibility. Comfortable. Minimal wind noise. I really don't like helmets for various reasons especially in hot weather, but this one worked nicely. Overall very pleased.

Awesome helmet and cool look. I love the graphics and the style however, when you get up to 60+ MPH the winds grabs this thing and will pull your head back hard. The wind whips your head around pretty bad. Awesome for just around town but not for highway use at all.

Wow! Let me tell you, I was not disappointed in this purchase!! I was a little nervous about it being bulky and having that "mushroom effect" but as you tell from the pics I don't think it's that bad at all!!!! And the design quality is exceptional!!! I get so many compliments on this helmet! Also a big thing for me is the ratchet style chin strap. I love it! It's also padded and I get zero pull or discomfort from my beard 😅 I also believe this helmet fits true to size.

Have been looking for a 3/4 helmet with a flip down sunshield AND a fixed visor. This helmet has everything I was looking for. I did buy a clear shield and switch out with the tinted one as I wanted it more for night riding and when it rains. the ear openings are a little tight for the communication speakers but I put the Styrofoam spacers in and took of the foam cover and all is good. Will purchase again when a new helmet is needed.
