Purchased these to help hold our patio umbrella closed during high winds. It's only been one season (but we have two and only need to use one so extra if needed) but so far they've held up through storms and immense heat - it gets hot where we are located. Curious to see how it holds up over the winter months but again, we received two so we have the extra one should the first not last through the snow and ice. Great purchase!

I thought others would be interested in the actual lengths, as some of the info, reviews and answers to questions are confusing to say the least.There are 2 straps supplied. Each one measures 60cm long, or 2 foot. However you do need to fold a bit of the Velcro over to fasten it after passing it through the buckle.I’ve put one of the straps on my 2.7 metre sun parasol and it’s easily big enough with lots left to fold and fasten.So it’s strong, looks okay, easy to use and long.
