Energizer For Women Treatment Shampoo, 4-Ounces (Pack of 2)

I have a love-hate relationship with this shampoo..PROS:After using this for a couple weeks I do feel I had less hair loss.It cleans well and gave my hair body.I have extremely oily hair and get what feels like grains of sand on my scalp that I'm constantly scratching off which are probably sebum plugs and I had SIGNIFICANTLY less of them while using this shampoo. My scalp just felt incredibly clean.CONS:Packaging says it is "super concentrated" so you "only apply a small amount" to wash you hair. Maybe this is true if you have a crew cut? My hair only falls a couple inches below my collarbone and I had to use quite a bit to distribute it across my scalp and through my hair.It takes a lot of product to create a lather.The worst con for me was while shampooing my hair felt like one giant matted mess and was difficult to distribute through my hair. I followed up with my usual conditioner which gave it some slip and it dried fine but it felt very stripping during the shampoo process. I will say my hair is bleached/highlighted. I understand the packaging does not indicate that it is "color safe" or okay for color treated hair so that may be the culprit.I will probably repurchase it though because ultimately I feel the pros outweigh the cons even though the cons were a bit annoying.

I am on my second bottle and I feel it is making a difference. I'll let you know if I see a difference after this bottle.

I first found this product (the regular version, not the version "for women") at a local health food store, and decided to try it. That was several months ago, and I've been using it ever since. I bought the shampoo for women from Amazon to see how it compared to the regular shampoo, and it is more moisturizing. Both versions work well, in my opinion. My hair is very fine, thin, and short, so results may be different for someone with long hair. It's very economical; a little goes a long way. I don't know if this product will reverse hair loss, but I do notice that there is less hair coming out in my comb, and when I wash my hair, so I plan to stick with this product. I like the fact that this product has been around for a long time. I wish I had known about it years ago.

This shampoo works to thicken hair and creates new growth. I will continue to use it over any other shampoo. Thanks

The product had changed from what I had bought before locally. I ordered this because it's what I already bought but received a product with a vastly different formula. Color smell and ingredient list. Even the manufacturer said they changed it due to California laws. I don't like the new smell which is made to make it seem stronger because there is more of the scent added than before and less active ingredient. The color went from clear to fake red. Unnecessary. So I don't feel comfortable with the changes.
