Now a days there is a lot of talk about crescent wrenches and even more reviews that paint horrific picture of state of crescent wrenches in modern society. I am here to quell those would be nay sayers and tell you this is the most mediocre wrench you can buy. If you just need a wrench to install a showerhead that has a magnetic holder for easy access and 7. That's right 7 settings. Then this is the wrench you need to purchase. It had no problem doing just that. Now I have not really used it since but that doesn't mean it is not capable of much more. Like installing a new faucet in your kitchen sink or working on any other number of plumbing needs. I will say though it is pretty, and I have become jealous of it's shimmer. It has a smug arrogance about it that I find delightful and undermining all at the same time. Just a real piece of work. But I love it.

You can tell it’s cheap but it gets the job done. Wouldn’t recommend for professionals. There was/is a weird wet residue upon opening and there still is a little months later. Not sure what chemical that is but I’m sure it can’t be healthy…ah well nothing is anymore am I right.

I can’t say enough about this wrench. The tolerances are very well fit and operates smoothly. Love the textured handle and the color helps it to stand out so as not to misplace it.

The wrench claims that it has a locking mechanism. No, it does not! I checked everywhere, there is no locking mechanism anywherevon the wrench! The wrench is good and doesn't slip much and its grip doesn't get too much wider and pretty much remains intact when you use it with force, but locking is supposed to ensure that it does not slip and does not get wider with force. There is no locking. That is a false advertisement. The price is $6-$7 for this wrench. The wrenches with locking mechanism are sold for $20-$25.
