Perfect fit. Removed cup from good eye side, had on horse in 20 minutes of arrivial.
This was an emergency buy, ordered because horses' current eye cover got cracked. I couldn't have made a better choice. Light weight fabric, almost form fitting, black silky sheen, eye cup fits perfectly in the proper place to protect the injured eye. The blinker has felt around the edge like it should. I feel no sharp edges like I had read about in the reviews. SIZE...our horse is an average size thoroughbred that has worn many a blinker in his racing career. He wears a standard size halter. It fits him perfectly. The straps may need to be shortened if you have a small headed horse like an Arabian, but they will also fit a larger horse. These are racing quality blinkers. They should stand up for lots of washings. The only thing I would like to see, is an option of cup color to match the blinker. I highly recommend these blinkers. I will definitely buy them again. Love the black. Goes perfect with the chestnut color of the horse.

Great for corneal ulcers!
This mask was a godsend! I got my donkey at auction and soon realized she had something going on with her eye. Equine vet diagnosed as a deep corneal ulcer that needs to be treated aggressively and her eye needed to kept out of sunlight. I ordered this mask, removed the cup on the side of her good eye and super glued chunky yarn on the inside of the remaining cup after reading reviews on here (thank you!). The vet was AMAZED at her progress at re-check visits and loved the mask. He said he may order some to keep in stock. Best of all, Opal's eye has fully healed!

A great product that needs a little tweaking
After my horse was enucleated, this filled the bill almost perfectly. I removed the unneeded cup with an X-Acto (easy!) and had to drill holes in the remaining cup because condensation on the post-op site is a bad thing. It's easy to drill; however, getting the shreds of plastic out of the holes is tricky. Use fingernails and fine sandpaper, then wash.It protected his stitches even on days when he was finally let outside to roll. He looks sporty in it. He's rather vain, so the jaunty white piping on the black hood is a plus. One caveat: it will slip somewhat and become tight if left on for days on end. Swap it out with a fly mask from time to time.I'm ordering one in every color.

Great for eye injuries
I needed a single eye cover for my horse to recover from a laceration. This was perfect! The vet charged me $50 per week for basically the same thing. I was able to remove the stitches from the opposite cup so he wasn't totally blind. As per manufacturer's instructions I drilled holes in the cups to allow air flow. I also added a small fleece ring around the covered eye to prevent rubbing. My horse really seems to like the mask and it does the job! The vet was even impressed. Highly recommend this if you need to cover an eye injury. For size reference I have a 16+H paint with a full size head and it fit well. This is designed to be snug and it is, but loose enough he can eat move freely. He will lower his head into the mask so I can't be uncomfortable.

Runs small
The design was decent and it was what I was looking for for my horse who has a bad eye, unfortunately it was too small for him and would not stay on or in place.

Works!
The only dislike on this is that the stitching around the cups are not too soft, but it was fine for what I needed. It's light and easy to clean.

Helped injuried eye heal!
Purchased for my horse who had stitches from a torn eyelid. Had to remove one of the cups which was easy enough. My horse had to wear this for a week almost straight. He did get some rubbing from cup around his eye but we fixed that with some glue and piece of felt. We hope to never need it again but it was exactly what we needed and held up very well.

Great for keeping injured eyes covered!--see update, very inconsistent product.
UPDATE: Ordered a second mask (in a diff color) so I could swap them out and keep them clean. Very inconsistent sizing, the new one fits horribly and I had ordered the same size. Pretty disappointed. It's going in the trash as soon as I can find a different one.Works great for eye injuries. Fit my little QH mare perfectly-may be too small for large horses. Stays on nicely, she hasn't rubbed it off so far. Was able to cut the seams and remove one of the cups so her healthy eye wouldn't be covered. Ordering a 2nd!
