My husband has a John Deere tractor so this is a perfect gift for him. He loves it… so much that he bought another one for a friend. It’s vented so allows air to flow through on a hot day. It has an adjustable Velcro closure. It seems sturdy and holds its shape. It’s one size fits all with the adjustable Velcro strap in the back. It’s a good value.

Hard to find a soft cotton front panel. This one has it. Great ball cap.

Great fit very comfortable

This is the best Deere lid I have found--love it! I live overseas and wanted something to remind me of home when doing yardwork. I have a 7 1/4 head and this fits perfectly at full closure. The pictures do not do this cover justice. I was initially hesitant about the tan-looking mesh backing but in sunlight it totally looks like it could be faded yellow (and is very soft). The green is more weathered than the pictures show--not distressed--but definitely weathered on all raised surfaces. It really, really looks and feels like a 20-year-old hat! Several others available online were definitely bright, or for melon noggins, but this is the perfect old-lookin'-feelin' version. Made it China, but what isn't anymore? Tags show that it is a John Deere-licensed product.

Having a father, you grew up on a farm and a grandfather you used John Deere equipment. I have a lot of wonderful memories of this brand. Yet I have never owned one due mainly to the high cost. The price was very reasonable, so I got one. I needed a summer hat which means light and airy. This hat fit the bill and is also very tough. It fits great and looks really good. Next to my veteran's hat this is my favorite. It shows to me a little bit of my family history.

Overall I like the hat and wear it regularly. The bill of the hat is normal, the mesh at the rear is very light and flimsy and the front of it is soft, not firm .not that it’s a bad thing, just not what I expected. Otherwise the hat looks great and seams of good quality and has the “worn” look. I would purchase again…4.5 stars.

The mesh part is soft instead of rough, unlike most trucker hats, I love it!

it is a soft materials which doesn't hold its shape. it is disappointing as it looks great in the picture but totally crap on my head. i have hardly worn it due to my disappointment.
