EverBrite Rechargeable Headlamp with Red/Green Light

I like this head lamp. It has a bright light with 2 settings. It also has a red & a green light. I don’t have a need for those. But that’s ok. Quick charging.

I bought this headlamp to use out in the field during fire guard, and it definitely did not let me down. It was comfortable to wear for long periods and lightweight enough that I barely noticed it was on. One thing I really appreciated was that it provided plenty of light without being so bright that it disturbed everyone else around me. The different brightness settings came in handy depending on whether I was working near others or by myself. The headlamp itself feels well made, and despite its small size, it has proven to be very portable and easy to carry around. Having multiple lighting options adds a lot of flexibility, especially for outdoor use. Overall, this is a reliable and comfortable headlamp that works great for camping, field use, or any situation where you need hands-free lighting without carrying bulky equipment.

This headlamp has been great. It remembers your last light option. So if you need red, after you turn it off, when you turn it on again, it'll be on the red light. As a pilot, its great because I don't have to cycle through all the light options to get the red. The band is easily adjustable around the head or hat. Size is perfect, lots of room to use on the band. Great value for what you pay. Battery lasts about 4 hours straight before it starts to dim, easy rechargeable with the cable provided.

I have three of these. I use them everyday as I am a farmer and am out working at 4am and often late at night. This is my favorite light. It’s pretty light and fairly well balanced. It has a myriad of settings. I use the green a lot as it doesn’t attract bugs at night. The white light is substantial and is all I need for working on equipment when dark outside. It takes a while to charge. It’s easy to see when the charge is low (little blue lights, four of them) What I don’t like. The headband is crap. One season is all it lasts. And it’s got too much plastic this and that’s on the band which dig into your head. I had to put bandaids over the back of the light plate itself. It is not smooth, plastic sticks out and scratches your forehead. These problems occur on all three of these. For the price, it’s a good deal and these lights have actually lasted longer than the expensive ones. When I have a little time I need to look into better quality headband material…then they’d be perfect.

I bought this headlamp to wear when running at night. Right off the bat, I noticed that reflective street signs are lighting up when I'm at least 30-50 feet away (if not more) so the light is definitely bright. I like that the lamp's angle can be changed easily, but it stays put at the desired angle, even if it's being bounced around as I run. My normal route has me on a somewhat busy street that is pretty well lit, so in those stretches I have the light mostly forward-facing so I'm more visible; I look down if I need the light closer to where I'm stepping if I'm approaching a dark area of a bad part of the sidewalk. When I go on a side street that is much darker, I angle the light down to better illuminate the path just ahead of me. I drive, walk, and run in my neighborhood at all hours, and I know as a driver how difficult it can be to see some pedestrians, day or night, since many intersections are at odd angles or side streets are steep hills. On numerous occasions with this light, I've had vehicles stop for me when I'm still 10-20 feet away from the intersection, which would never happen during the day. Clearly, I'm visible to them, and that's a good thing (I also wear a reflective vest, and if you're running at night, I suggest spending a few bucks on one, as well). Recently, a vehicle came to a stop before it reached the top of the hill at the intersection I was crossing to give me plenty of room. I was surprised by that, but I'm not complaining. During a recent power failure, this lamp also came in handy so I could see my way through a pitch black house and in the yard when I took my dog out. When I had to do some yard work at night, having a headlamp was much easier than losing a hand to a flashlight, and wherever I looked was lit. I find the lamp to be pretty comfortable--it's not too heavy, and I'm not sure there's much that could be improved to make something strapped somewhat tightly to your forehead more comfortable--and no problem to wear for the 30-45 minutes I usually have it on. Every once in a while I charge it, and I've never had the power run out. Considering how much more expensive many of the other lights designed for runners are, I'm more than glad I went with this one. If you really need the super bright light some of them offer (running on pitch-black trails, for example), those may be worthwhile. If you're a casual jogger, this is a great buy.

Just received my headlight. It is well worth the cost many light choices including red& greeen. Also a small button lamp red blinks & solid red. This has a separate CR2032 button battery, ok with this as I didn’t even know it was there. Also signal whistle/hang hook all on the headband. I like it! You can spend more but Cree light are very bright high quality LED’s. See you on the trails, the camo band is very nice.

Works as it should. I haven’t had a problem with battery life so far. Haven’t ran the numbers on a full charge but it’s been sufficient for me. Get the battery version if you plan on longtime use. I used the red light for my first night cross country. The bets part is when the light is on for a while and you turn it off, when you turn it back on it goes to the setting you were just using. Great for night flying when you don’t want to be blinded. It actually can be too bright of a red light. I wish it dimmed a bit.

I've read the reviews too and at first I was skeptical. It's bulky, not sexy and someone complained that it's useless for night vision because you can't separate the white and the red light. False. Had they read the instructions, you can select the light type and intensity you want with the first button, wait a few seconds - then - use the other button to turn on/off. It will then always select that last setting. Now the dirt: took this baby along with a new Nebo Einstein, my trusty Black Diamond and a set of other head lamps on a backcountry trip. Sorry Nebo people, but you got outperformed by this new contender. Battery life is like any light, won't last you days at max brightness, but on red/green light it did a solid 3 nights on one charge. Surprisingly, the red light is brighter than the other lights, including the Nebo which wasn't bright or wide enough to do much. The green light is just awesome to have if you find you need more clarity than what you get with red light, but don't want to turn on the white light. This unit is a solid 10 in my book. It will replace my Nebo set and I won't look back. Bonus: the additional red back-light works well as a tent light.

It was a gift to my husband. He loves it!! Loves everything about it. It last long before it needs to be charged again. It is bright enough to work with it. Loves the red or green light for seeing in the dark without turning on the bright white light. He's been using it regularly for almost a year. BUT last week one of the very small plastic pins holding the lamp to the headband where you tilt it broke. So my husband found the smallest screw he had and that's what is holding it together and he can still tilt it. But why make this part so small and with plastic!
