Great tools for masking off areas to be painted.
I use an airbrush to paint models, and other small items. I am always masking areas I don't want to paint. Invariably I come across angles, trim, rounded areas that need to be Masked. Getting into corners with a strong seal can be difficult. I wanted a tool that could help me form the masking tape into the crevices without spending too much. These shaping tools are the perfect size and price, and are more than strong enough for any of my needs.

like to get wax out of little wedged areas and ...
These are very small and cheap but I just use them to get into nooks and crannies when detailing my car, like to get wax out of little wedged areas and stuff. for that it works great. I really didn't need such an assortment of shapes for my purposes and its probably about 25 cents in plastic, but I'll take what I can get I guess. I used to have something similar but they were large metal dentist type instruments which I used when I actually did clay modelling. I much preferred those for that purpose. I wouldn't want to use metal against my car paint though. For a clay set I think they aren't great but for what I'm using them for they do the job.

Small but not sturdy, bends/gives, and molding lip affects pattern
These are small and easy and light to grasp/hold, but they are flimsy in that with any real pressure they give and so your desired effect is lessened/deviated at times. The molding lip from manufacture leaves a small sharp flap on the tips which affects design unless you try to carefully cut/smooth it off. These would not work on medium to firm clays. It took effort and they all bent when I attempted to use on soft conditioned premo translucent (pictured). They work less well with fimo, cernit, and pardo. The pack is very cheap and comes in a nice sleeve and the variety of tools is nice and I will still find uses for many of them, so they might be worth having for various art forms as long as you don't expect them to be sturdy.

Great for model body work ...
K - these are small - thus - not sure you would really use these tools for clay modeling & maybe the vendor should remove the mention of "clay" - but - for soft stuff - like icing - our in my case - plastic model body work - there great. Using these tools to work in Tamiya Model panel filler & there perfectly fine & just the right size for squeezing into small cracks etc.

ok
These are small and not very sturdy although they get the job done for the price.

Works great!
My son loves these. Works great for his stop motion animation clay figures. The various ends are super useful for shaping and I love that they’re super cheap - I can buy more if he loses them - which may happen a lot since he’s nine!
