GED Math for Beginners: The Ultimate Step by Step Guide to Preparing for the GED Math Test

The way that everything is so well put together, you can go straight into a chapter that has the math you are looking for such as fractions. And in that chapter you will find everything you need about fractions. Unlike other books that make you go into 3 different chapters one for adding fractions and then another for dividing them. It makes it very tedious but with this book everything is all in one place and i have finished perhaps 65 percent of the book and according to a practice test of 34 questions i got 30 correct out of 34. I'm going to ace this thing thanks to this book. This is the book you are looking for if you want to cram all the math in and pass the math test fast! The author earned this review with this work.

It started with me looking into this book and thinking, "Oh goodness, I'm not going to be able to do any of this," to getting a 41 of 46 score in the practice test at the end, which is equal to a College Ready + Credits score according to the book.The book explains everything very well. There were a few parts that had me a little confused, but I figured them out in the end. It even explains what the real test looks like and how to prepare for it when the day comes.I did find one flaw at the end of the book, in the first practice test. It's question 18, and it has multiple correct answers.Question: The ratio of red to blue marbles is 2: 5. Which of the following could be the total number of marbles in the bag?So you have to choose the answers that are divisible by 7, right? But the number E in the answer sheet is 658, while the actual E in the test is 662, which is NOT divisible by 7! It loses you a possible point!Anyway. . . the book is totally worth it. Don't hesitate to buy. I'm quite confident it will help you as much as it helped me. I haven't learned so much so fast in the entirety of my life!(I recommend keeping notecards beside you to track memorable notes. It was very helpful to me.)

So far this book it’s awesome, simple easy explanations, but I found an error in one of the answers, first chapter, practice 46, the fraction can be simplified by 9, which gives the lowest fraction, but in the answer page of the book gives another solution, I’ve checked with other apps for the solution for this practice and it gives the same solution I got to, I hope they fix this error, so far it’s great

I am struggling taking my math GED test and so I purchased this book to help study.

I haven’t used the book yet but I have browsed through it and also got on the website that it recommends which it seems very helpful with losts of videos! I’m planning to take my test soon so I hope this helps me a lot! I want to walk in May! 🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾

Good for practice examples and practice test. But I still needed to research for explanation videos for some lessons. Some examples was pretty easy to understand until I actually did the practices and I got confused sometimes. Looking at the results to compare and to figure out what’s the solution for that but just have the answers, no explanation which I don’t like.
