I want to purchase this for a family trip (5 days) to Disneyland -- how many rolls should I get?

Depends on how many family members. I used less than a roll for 2 trips. One lasting 11 days And the other 6 days. Came in very handy ! Have a great time in Disneyland. You WILL be doing a great deal of walking.

Can this be stuck to the inside heel of sneakers to prevent blisters?

Yes! It works great inside your shoes. I do this all the time with my work shoes.

I had read a while ago some reviews talking about needing a separate adhesive or glue because this didn't stick so well. Anyone know what it's called?

You don't need a separate adhesive. These work all day in dry situations and for several hours if you are sweating (such as running or difficult housework).I am able to use them all day either way, but most people I know change it out twice a day if the job/workout is very intense.

You put this on the part of the foot that's the problem (1-time use)? OR you stick pieces into your shoes in the trouble spots (permanent solution)?

I put directly on my foot and leg, I wear a brace,but I've read that some people place them in their shoes where they have trouble spots. You can try both and see which one works best for you.
