Reliable Power Source
I bought the BOSCH BAT414 12-Volt Max 2.0Ah battery as a replacement for an older one, and I’m very impressed. This battery is heavy and fits well and compatible. It snaps perfectly into my Bosch 12V drill and impact driver and gives noticeably longer runtime compared to the older one—value for money. It functions as described.

I love the Bosch 12 volt line. I'm buying it piece by piece as I find good deals so I've bought mostly bare tools and several of these batteries. One little thing I wanted to clear up about battery specs so everyone knows. This is simplifying it but you get the idea.This battery is rated 2AH, amp-hours. This isn't the power of the battery. 12 volts is the (nominal, or approximate) power of the battery. The tool will draw 12 volts then depending on how hard the tool is working, it'll draw varying amperage carried by that 12 volts. If the tool is drawing 2 amps, it should run one hour. If it's drawing four amps, it should last a half hour, etc.These 2 AH batteries are pretty amazing when I compare them to the size and weight of my Dewalt 4 AH batteries, but of course those are twenty (nominal) volts.Bosch now makes a 4AH battery for the 12 volt tools, but doesn't fit in the somewhat cylindrical profile of the tools handle, and adds to the overall shape of the tool. They should theoretically last twice as long but I haven't tried them as the small size and weight is much of benefit of these tools.In summary, watch this battery's price and when it's low, buy several.

Failed after 6 months, great service by Bosch warranty group.
Battery worked great for 6 months (only 3 or 4 recharge cycles). Failed to charge, or even be recognized by the charger. Contacted Bosch directly, supplied serial number & receipt, new battery shipped out. Be sure to register all your tools with the manufacturer, it will ease the process if you need it. Hats off to Bosch, great customer service!Popped the bottom off to see if one of the three cells inside was disconnected, nothing found. Didn’t see a way to pull the batteries and terminals out of the housing. Likely possible, but I’m not that motivated. Disappointing that it failed, but Bosch made it right immediately.

I have five tools that use this battery. I was very pleased to find it on Amazon as usual and it was delivered the next day. I will be ordering more FOR SURE. They seem to be more powerful and last longer than the original batteries.Thanks AMAZON

It is light weitgh, small and seems to be build with quality. Things you would expect from a original bosch product.

This battery will replace the Dremel B815-01
In trying to find another B815-01 for a spare for the Dremel rotary tool 8240, I found it practically impossible. No one, including the many Chinese manufacturers, had a battery that would fit this tool. At 2 amps, this Bosch battery (Bosch owns Dremel now), should duplicate the battery that came with the tool in terms of operation and charge. Plus, it's cheaper than the Dremel badged battery sold elsewhere for $50 to $60.

Great rechargeable battery
Very lightweight, perfect for my Bosch hand vac and provides lots of power to the unit, much better performance than is reported in other hand vac reviews, so I suggest this manufacturers battery.

Better than the battery that came with the tool.
This replacement has been way better than Factory-supplied battery that came with the tool... which stopped charging after 2 years. Seems to have more power and charge time than my other factory battery too.

I have some compatibility issues with it.
I have a small Bosch drill that came with a 1.5Ah and bought a small reciprocating saw. Figured a 2nd battery would be a good idea, so i got this.The odd part is this battery works with the charger and the saw, but will not work with the drill despite it fitting correctly. The battery from the drill works with the saw.Not sure what the issue is, but, be mindful of this as it might not work with some devices.
